WOW Kelli! That's crazy! At least neither of you were hurt!!

Tell me about it. When the car finally came to a stop, I said I WILL NEVER drive again. Like Kayla the thing I remember most is DH throwing his hands over his head and ducking down when he saw the tree. And like I said some how I missed the tree. It was like somebody picked it up and moved it than put it back. We were just dating at the time and I don't think I ever told my parents about it.

And DH MADE me get back in the car and drive home. Shaking like a leaf and all.

That was the best thing you could have done
due to injuries both times it was at least 2 weeks before I drove and it was SO HARD getting back behind the wheel

THat is how I totaled my Truck last Feb was on Black Ice and went Head on into a telephone pole DD was in the front seat and if I close my eyes I can still see her body flop even in the seatbelt
really is hard even a year later Some people say it is still post tramatic stress
but I was trained to deal with that is the fire service so I don't know

Lucky for me DH is driving tonight so that helps

Funny thing is as a teenager and in my 20's I would put my car into skids just to see if i could "save" it

now I am terrified
but 2 head on crashes in 6 years on ice will change anyone I think

I am so glad that you guys are okay.
