Hey all! I just got this e-mail from my cousin and I wanted to share!
I won't be sending e-cards for awhile anyway, so if anyone gets one from me don't open it!

WORST VIRUS EVER --- CNN ANNOUNCED
PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST!!
A new virus has just been discovered that has been classified by
Microsoft as the most destructive ever. This virus was discovered
yesterday afternoon by McAfee . This virus simply destroys Sector Zero
from the hard disk, where vital information for its functioning are
stored.

This virus acts in the following manner:
It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with
the title:"A Card for You".
As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened the comp uter
freezes so that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+del keys or
the reset button are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus
permanently destroying the hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this
virus caused panic in New York, according to news broadcast by CNN.

This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself.
So don't open any mails with subject: "A Virtual Card for You."
As soon as you get the mail, delete it!! Even if you know the sender !!!
Please pass this mail to all of your friends.
Forward this to everyone in your address book. I'm sure most
people, like myself, would rather receive this notice 25 times than not

Yikes. You know what I always wonder about, if the older generations were smart to keep their money as cash under a bed. If you read the budget board, some people think they are set for life with their stocks and bonds, etc...but what if the electronic side of Wall Street got erased? What would happen and I wonder how long it would take to get it all straightened out?

Sorry, totally OT :rotfl2:

We are not diversified at all :upsidedow
We have a little money in stocks for the kids (hopefully they want to go to college or a trade school).
We have some in our retirement accounts for work (we are supposed to get pensions too....I don't hold my breath on that one though)
We hardly keep cash and then we put all we can into our house. DH has disability insurance, but my goal is to pay off our home while both of us can work...I think that would give me peace of mind more than anything ::yes:: . Of course, lately we have been investing in Disney...and I don't mean the stocks :rotfl2: :teeth:

I'm sooooo sleepy!! I haven't been able to sleep the last few days! :worried:
