you're so organized!
:rotfl: that is knee slappin' funny! :rotfl:

there was a coupon for getting a compact photo book free so I wanted to try it out. I ended up getting two of them for $16.99 with the coupon. It's just a 7" x 5.25" but it will be cool to have alot of the pics all together.

I really want to make a cake today.. but B wants chocolate and I don't have the stuff for a chocolate cake... maybe I should just go ahead and make the yellow and just give him extra chocolate icing.
sounds yummy :flower:

I hope it is. She is just sooooo spoiled, it's unbelievable. She'll go off yelling at her mom, calling her a b----. Maybe this will make her realize all that her mom really does for her.
:headache: oohhh kids like that make me so mad!

Here's one...a little hard to see. He's over on the right.

I just went to the kitchen to do some dishes and a turkey flew into the front yard, then another, then another. Does your DH hunt turkeys? He'd go nuts right now, they're all over our property. I'm downloading the pics I just took.
nope, he only safely hunts mature animals we will eat....so basically deer in land where he will get permission (from friends/family). The wild turkeys around here are tough, or so I have heard....as long as we have been married DH hasn't gotten any. On the rare occasion he will go hunting with friends for pigs or goats, but most times he won't get one or if he does it is because someone he knows wants the meat. He is very responsible and so are his hunting companions, so lately I have been letting him take DS more. DS loves going, in fact, two nights ago he took out his hunting clothes and has it ready on his bed "just in case" doesn't the boy know that I am exhausted from the trip, camping, preschool, helping my sister...and oh, ya, CHRISTMAS :teeth: I like hunting too, but for the nature walk. I can spot the animals, but I don't like guns and don't care to learn, so when they do their thing I take my time to catch up and by the time I reach there it is over. I don't mind the cleaning part or the preparing of the meat....and being with the guys is fun :goodvibes

:earseek: that is so sad and horrible....the worst part is some people never learn to appreciate what they have....hopefully she does before it is too late.

My DH doesn't hunt, mainly 'cause we don't like the meat. I can't stand hunters that just hunt to hunt. There are a lot of those kinds around here. But there are also a lot of responsible hunters that only kill what they will eat or know they can share. We don't allow any of our friends or neighbors hunt on our property so there are lots of deer and other animals.

how big is your property? how much of it is fenced?

We have about 37 acres. The house sits on about 4 acres on one side of the road and then the rest of the acreage is across the street. We have a fence across the back behind the house, then there's a creek on the other side of that fence, but other than that none of it is fenced.

well dh is off to his Co's Christmas party at a fancy steak house... stinky place doesn't even invite spouses :(

People who leave the meat and/or go onto property without permission really bug me. Too me, it is just wasteful and dangerous to everyone else. We have caught people on our property before. They had permission on the land waaaayyyyy below and then crossed over into our family land and I spotted them on our place. DH and his cousin (who farms his uncle's land below and owns below that) confronted them :earseek: I was so scared and I could kind of see them, but it was too far to see well. I guess they knew one of the guys and I think there was a lot of swearing going by DH's cousin on the men apoligized and left. I once saw the guy DH knew and when he saw DH he turned away and was embarrassed, he should be! But I worry that some people don't know or care that they are wrong :guilty:

That sounds like a wonderful place to live :flower:
