dh is working from home today so I haven't had much LTP time

It's nice to know I am not the only one who feels like a maid sometimesLyn5 said:No, this makes you a real person!!!!! I feel the same why. I love my family more than anything....but sometimes they drive me nuts. I once even told DH that I feel the the maid/cook around our house, eveyone leaves everything for me to pick up and that he could hire someone to be "mom/wife" if that is all I am....now he shows his "appreciation" more and tries to help more. Sometimes, I feel like it is hard enough picking up after the kids...do I have to tell a grown man to put his clothes in the hamper and not the floor????

Lyn5 said:My DH loves hunting too. Do you have any good deer recipes? We usually ground most of our meat and make ground venison. I have this easy recipe for Buck Cakes. I brown the meat in butter, then I add bar-b-que sauce. I take biscuit dough and push then onto the sides of a greased cupcake pan. I fill the cupcakes with the meat mixture and add chedder cheese on top. I bake it in the oven to cook the cake and that is it....really yummy and DH and his friends love it.
By the way, Kelli, my DH said the archery thing at WDW next-next weekend is some kind of ESPN World Finals.

Now your thinking like a Women on the run.
Mom2Ashli said:Wow. Really. I have not heard anything about it.
Lyn5 said:I am not sure about it myself. He may have an internal radar for that kind of information

I think the rest of my family has a "clean room" radar...as soon as I clean a room they go in and destroy it....so by the time I clean another room I have to go back to the first room and clean the mess again. You know how the Golden Gate Bridge is always getting painted, that is me cleaning my house. I think my poor washer is as tired as I am....only 4 more days though...trying to think happy thoughtsMom2Ashli said:![]()
