Running late. Had a friend that his SOON to be ex girlfriend put desiel gas in an unleaded car. he walked to our house (10 miles) and my dh lent him our extra car. DH is just now packing UGH!!! anyway i will be here atleast maybe another 30 min

most gas stations here have the deisel at a seperate pump

I had a BAD morning with the kids to the point of just wanting to run away
but Stephs friend sounds like he had a much worse morning
his girlfriend put diesel in an unleaded car and he had to walk 10 miles for help

I am sure you have read this before but i like it and wanted to share it.


This could happen to you.

I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying:
"Hi, how are you?"

I'm not the type to start a conversation in the restroom but I don't know what got into me, so I answered, somewhat embarrassed,
"Doin' just fine!"

And the other person says:
"So what are you up to?"

What kind of question is that? At that point, I'm thinking this is too bizarre so I say:
"Uhhh, I'm like you, just traveling!"

At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question.
"Can I come over?"

Ok, this question is just too weird for me but I figured I could just be polite and end the conversation. I tell them
"No........I'm a little busy right now!!!"

Then I hear the person say nervously...

"Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions

Ever have a Morning where you just want to pack up and leave

to where I have no clue

I love my kids to death
and my husband but

i am just having a bad i feel so unappreciated kinda day
i just want to start driving and not stop till i run out of gas

sorry to vent i am just miserable today

nothing but fighting with the girls and somedays i just want to YELL enough figure it out yourself and lock myself in my room

guess that makes me a bad mom huh

No, this makes you a real person!!!!! I feel the same why. I love my family more than anything....but sometimes they drive me nuts. I once even told DH that I feel the the maid/cook around our house, eveyone leaves everything for me to pick up and that he could hire someone to be "mom/wife" if that is all I am....now he shows his "appreciation" more and tries to help more. Sometimes, I feel like it is hard enough picking up after the kids...do I have to tell a grown man to put his clothes in the hamper and not the floor????

Ok...this is my official last post till i am ready to go. I am going to get my butt up and resist the urge to come and post on DISboards. I can do it. I am a recovering DIS addict. LOL.....anyway.....bye till either 1 of 2....i get packed and have extra time or see you sunday after church.
