I signed up for five. So if you request 5 then you send five and you should receive five. They put clues inside instead of signing. Some of the clues match up with their screen name or a tag.

For example - I think I got one from clhcpaca. Inside it has a small pic of pooh, eeyore, tigger and piglet. It also has a black & white pic that is hard to see but it looks like garlic. It's postmarked from North Texas. I searched through the exchange thread and found that the tag for clhcpaca is "from the garlic capital of the world." She also has eeyore for her avatar and she's from TX. I have to post to make sure that's who it is from!

It's been fun!

Okay I would never have been able to come up with good clues as to who I was and I would NEVER have gotten that one.

T had tons of cavities, so he's going to have to get those fixed first.

so you did 5 seperate cards?? You didn't have to send a card to everyone who was in the exchange?? that's what I thought it was.

No, you had to sign up for at least two. Or you could sign up for all. Or you could pick however many you wanted to. You also had the option to ask not to get any international names (which I opted not to get 'cause of the cost of postage).

I only got it from reading through the thread. If other people have gotten cards they also post who they got a card from, maybe what the card was like, etc. You can get clues that way, too.

that sounds like it would have been fun to do. I thought you had to send one to EVERYONE on the list and I was like :faint:

That would have gotten a little too expensive for me. :earseek: There ended up being 53 participating.

For each of them???

For the braces or to fix his teeth first

$2000 for all of it.... two sets of braces and teeth fixing.... that's our portion.. our dental will pay the other half of it.

Okay than that is a great deal.

My Dental plan doesn't cover braces.

That's really not that bad. Andrew went for a consultation a few months ago and his was gonna be over $4,000 just for braces. But our dental insurance doesn't cover anything on braces.

I guess I need to get ready to go to town. A.J. has a bowling/pizza party for all Special Olympics athletes.

well now you're making me feel like a loser! a lucky oe I guess, but still a loser!

Our dental insurance covers $1500 total lifetime for orthodontics per person.
