I know when I lived on the mainland we drove a lot to go places...now that I am back here over 60,000 miles in 5 years seems like a lot.

Well all the weather has blown over and now it is time for the temp to start dropping. I just hope the WARM weather is over. I am ready for it to be cold or hot. just needs to make up its mind,,lol

We're 15 miles from town so every trip to town is 30 miles round trip. I had to go to town twice today! So it adds up fast. Luckily DH has a take-home patrol car so he doesn't have to drive one of our vehicles to get to work!

i hate tornadic weather. i get scared. plus the kids are scared. and DH was sound to sleep. he had to stay up with DD today. He works 3rd shift so he had to sleep tonight... and i cant believe he slept through it all. How does he do that... LOL... i would have woke up on the first sprinkle... LOL

That is similar to me. I work in town and then drive home each night, plus we use my van on the weekends. DH's works close to home and so he doesn't have to drive far. His truck is older than mine and has much less miles...

Great with all the unfriendly people out that day. I swear I have NEVER in my life come in contact with some many rude mean people in my life.

I saw two women in a fist fight over cutting in line.

Just reading back and saw this

Three years ago I was at walmart with my FIL and we watched a fight breakout
to the point of blood shed over a basketball hoop type thing

it was unreal

I like black friday but that was NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

All we keep saying is that we're glad it waited until we got back from WDW!

In 2000 the tranny in our car started going half way back from WDW
we limped it home but it was NOT a fun ride

Glad DH was driving I wouldn't have made it
