Last Night at WL?

We are planning to spend our last night of our vacation at the WL. We have a package for 5 nights at POFQ. I have a reservation for the 6th night at WL using the room only code. We will be leaving some time the next day for SC. What I would like to know is should I keep that reservation, or has anyone ever received a great deal by booking a room directly at the front desk of the desired resort during the week of their stay?

I'd hang onto your reservation. You didn't list the dates you were going to be at WDW, but I know in May rooms are somewhat scarce at WL -- basically because of the code rates. (A deluxe std. room for $139?!?! ) If you cancel your reservation, you may either be out of a room (no availability) or end up paying rack rate .
