Last Minute Wishes Spots?

What are your favorite last minute Wishes spots? I'm talking 5-10 minutes before CTM starts. Does the MSEP ever interfere with getting spots like this? I'd like to find a decent spot that doesn't cut into my riding time too much, and will allow me to escape back into the park once Wishes is over.

Also, for Holiday Wishes is the crowd an issue? If I go during a weekday party is it significantly easier to get a good spot since only 20,000 people are allowed into the party?

There are many places to see the fireworks if you don't care about seeing them from in front of the castle
(and don't care about seeing CTM at all.)

Some watch from Fantasyland. Fireworks happen in front of you and behind you there.
(Again, no CTM.)

I would like to see it in front of the castle this time, as I've never done that.

I'm not sure. Maybe that number is wrong but I thought I read that somewhere yesterday (touringplans maybe) while researching the best Christmas Party dates.

If you want to be able to see "Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks,
you want a clear view of the Castle, so closer is better.
