Last Minute Travel for tickets?

So has anyone actually used this company before? Their park tickets would save us about $50 but I'm so nervous about it. WHY are their prices cheaper? It seems like it is very rare to find discounted tickets like that. It just makes me so nervous. Their character meals are a lot cheaper too. Ugh!

I feel the same way. I hope it turns out well for everyone, but you know what they say about if it sounds too good to be true...I find it hard to believe that they are selling tickets that they do not know the expiration date for. :confused3 Doesn't sound right....:confused:They should know when they expire or if these are the special tickets good only through April.

The email that has the confirmation that you turn into the ticket booth has an expiration (on mine, at least) of 60 days after date of issue. The date of issue for mine is January, 2010.

Since this is my first time using them, I will let anyone know if there are problems. We do not go until March.

Does anyone know if everyone in your party must be present to switch vouchers for tickets? I've decided to fly one of my older daughters in for the trip since she had some time off school but she won't be arriving until late late afternoon and we hope to get there and exchange vouchers (if we go ahead with this purchase) for PH tickets around noon.

I'm not sure, but when I bought the tickets, I listed myself as the primary contact. I know I will need to show my ID, but I am not sure if my DH would show his.:confused3
I also have 3 minor children listed that would not have ID.
The company that emails the voucher (tourico holidays) was very helpful with my questions, if you need to contact them.

I have done some searching and it looks like the reviews are really mixed (some HORRIBLE, but those all deal with hotels, not tickets). I most likely would not go with the tickets without some kind of guarantee. I have my dining vouchers in hand and will see what happens. If it works great, worst case I pay the gate price for dining. I am not too concerned. Now if we were talking about $1000 in tickets I would be much more concerned....

I think the reason I feel safe about our tickets is because of the great customer service I received when I called the parent company. (The parent company is the one listed on the actual voucher.)
It also states on the voucher to call immediately with any problems.
If all goes well in March, I will let everyone know.:thumbsup2

Yeah most of the bad reviews I saw were concerning a promotion they did where you could get $1 hotel rooms and alot of people were upset they couldn't get any. I wish someone was going before our trip so I'd feel safer LOL

Yes they have to be picked up at the ticket booth, exactly the same as GAT handles things. I have a printed voucher, an 800-number to call with problems and paid with Visa with money back quarantee if there is a problem.

Prices were: adult $27.87 child $14.38 regular character dining
and adult $34.16 child $17.98 Premium dining (Goofy's and Ariels)

GAT prices are : adult $31 child $16 regular character dining
and adult $38 child $20 Premium dining (Goofy's and Ariels)

Hi Everyone,

I am wondering what the difference is between regular and premium dining.

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

I am wondering what the difference is between regular and premium dining.

Thanks.

Premium character meals are Goofys and Ariels. Regular character meals are every other character meal at DLR. It includes Minnie & Friends in DL, Storyteller's at GCH and Mickey's at PCH.

We saw Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Belle (in blue dress), Aladdin, and Minnie Mouse was outside just before you enter restaurant. She was available for pictures. That's all I can remember off top of my head.:earsboy:

Can the vouchers be used for dinner at Goofys, I didnt see anything in the description about just breakfast. If so they may be worth it.

Wow, it's hard to find great deals on park tickets. It does seem a bit too good to be true but I guess if you pay with a credit card that gives you some protection.

We're not going till April and so I'm tempted to just wait and see how things go for others. But I don't know that those low prices will be there forever. If you click on the "more details" link it shows the normal prices they charge for the tickets . . .

Does anyone know what the current prices are for Character dining? They seem to vary throughout the year and I'm too lazy to call, LOL. :)

What characters come around at Goofy's?

We've been twice. The first time we saw: Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Minnie, Mulan and Alice.

The second time we saw: Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Cinderella, Chip & Dale, Snow White, & Gideon (from Pinocchio).

I bought tickets today.
I received an email confirmation from LMT and then another email from tourico holidays.
The email from tourico holidays had a PDF file attached that is the printout that you turn in at the gate.
I had to call the customer service number for tourico holidays because I was having issues with my printer. They answered the phone right away and gave great customer service to my questions.
The representative I spoke with said they are a parent company to LMT.
BTW, tourico holidays is in Florida.

So far, so good. Everything looks legitimate, using the same process as other online ticket agents.:thumbsup2

All DL parkhopper tickets expire 13 days after you first use them.

This was a portion of my live chat:

Me: I was considering buying tickets to Disneyland. Are the tickets shipped? If so, how long does it take for me to get them. How much is shipping? Thanks.
Matias: no ma'am, everything is done electronically
Matias: you will receive emailed confirmation...this is what you present to the ticket booth
Matias: along with your photo ID

I am just bought both my parkhopper tix and character dining vouchers from LMT, but am confused with the 2 posts quoted above after re-reading the thread. Once said that the email confirmation is used to exchange for tickets and the other said that a PDF file will be sent. So far I have only received an email confirmation. I wonder what I should expect. I will call tomorrow morning to get some clarity, but I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this? (So I can sleep tonight :))

Thanks,
Cecilia

I immediately received an email from LMT that looked more like a receipt of purchase. Then, a few hours later in the day I received the second email from touricoholidays. This email contained a PDF attachment that I printed. The PDF file is the actual voucher. The email also has touricoholidays information and a number/address to contact them.
If you bought tickets last night, maybe tourico offices were closed and you will receive your voucher today. If not, I can give you their number to see what the hold up is.
Good Luck, and let us know what happens!:)

You can also log on to your account on their website and print the vouchers.

I also emailed LMT to inquire and following is my answer:

"Also once confirmed you will be e-mail another voucher for dining that you will present at the ticket window and at the dining location that will have the confirmation number."

I emailed again to see when I can expect to receive the vouchers, but have not received an answer yet. I am also not sure what "once confirmed" means...isn't my order confirmed after I submitted payment by credit card?

Amy, I also logged on to try to print the voucher. When I clicked on the voucher button, the file that came up looked exactly the same as the confirmation email I received.

I am probably worrying too much, but if I still do not receive a reply tomorrow, I will call to clarify.

Thanks.

Cecilia
