Has anyone heard of or used a reservations company called Last Minute Room Confirmations, their web page is disney.roomconfirmations.com. I'm looking for a room for one night and they have a very good price on motel I was thinking about using. Price is actually much better than quoted on other sites, just wondering if anyone knows about this company.

I checked out the site and in order to be able to get to the room reservations part, I had to adjust my browser privacy settings to allow certain cookies.

I checked room rates for 2/8 at value, deluxe and moderate resorts and found no availability for most resorts on that date. For the following date, rates were pretty much the rack rate with no special discounts.

And then there was the reservations policy:

All rates include hotel taxes!!! Children 3-17 Free sharing room with parents Max 2. Credit card is charged for a deposit of 1 Night if booked more than 31 days ahead or total cost listed above if less than 30 days from date of arrival at the time of booking. No prices or hotel availability are guaranteed until deposit or full payment is received. Rooms are provided by Mco Travel Corp., under an agency agreement with Room Confirmations.ANY RESERVATION CANCELLED WITHIN 6 DAYS OF THE FIRST DATE OF ARRIVAL WILL RESULT IN A FORFEITURE OF THE FIRST NIGHT ROOM AND TAX FOR EACH ROOM.

And the cancellations policy:

For a cancellation made 6 to 44 days prior to arrival, there is an additional cancellation fee of $100 per package plus any cancellation fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers.
For a cancellation made 5 days or less prior to arrival, there is an additional cancellation fee of $200 per package plus any cancellation fees by hotels or other suppliers. No refunds will be given to no-shows.
For a change made 44 days or less prior to arrival or that results in a rate change, there is an additional change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers.

For changes, the change fees must be paid in addition to any increase in rate resulting from the change.

Their "About Us" page is blank. Their rates are not that great and their payment/refund/cancellation policies are not too great either. One could certainly do at least as well with Walt Disney Travel Co. or CRO, if not better. I'd pass on this one.

Yes, I had some doubts about some of their policies also. I just needed a room for one night off site after getting into Orlando late in the evening, but even though the rate on the hotel I was looking at was $20 less a night through this company I think the potential problems are not worth using the booking company. I'll pay a little more and have one less potential headache.

Thanks for taking a look at this.

Have you ever tried priceline.com?

They are great and I have never been disappointed with any of my rooms. If you are looking at spending $20, look at a 2*.

I just made a reservation at a 2 1/2* for the Disney area, bid $40 a night for 7 nights and won it for that price. I will be staying at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista at $40 a night.

Had I booked through their website it would of cost me $119.00 per night for the same time period.

Even if you did get a "BAD" room, which I doubt, priceline is a very reputable company and the hotels that they use really strive to make your stay a wonderful one and will fix any reported problems.

Good Luck!:D
