Only 5 more days! A few last minute questions before we leave.

1. I have booked a character breakfast at Surfs Up for Aug 23 at 7:10 am. We will be entering the park for the first time after breakfast. How do I go about getting pictures added to my Photopass Plus account if I can't activate it before we enter the park?

2. Trying to determine which days to designate for the Disney parks. Our fist day will be Aug 23 and our last day will be Aug 31. I have three more days to use. We will be visiting on Aug 25 (hoping to participate in some of the Magical Monday events). Do any of you have any feedback about what the parks will be like as we approach the marathon weekend? Wondering if I should avoid the park on Friday and Saturday or will it not be that bad since passes black out again?

THanks!

That's normally the week we go. Although we've never been on that Saturday. When we've gone Sunday through Friday, Friday has always been the busiest day.

Thanks. So maybe we should do something else on Friday and Saturday. We have passes for Legoland as well. And we are hoping for a day at the beach. Do you think the beach will be super crowded?

Bring your Photopass+ voucher with you to the Surf's Up. When they bring the photo package around to your table for you to purchase, explain that you haven't been to the parks yet, but you pre-purchased a Photopass+, and politely ask what you should do.

When I did that in January, they took my voucher to some backstage area, activated my Photopass+, and came back with a lanyard and the photos.

A great bit of customer service--saved valuable park time!

Several other posters have since said it worked for them, too. I wouldn't consider it a 100% guarantee, but I think the chances are good it will work.

This happened to us last January at Goofy's Kitchen. I did mention that I had PhotoPass+ when I checked in and they mentioned it to the photog taking our pictures with Goofy. There were a lot added to our PhotoPass + account than what was given to us in the folder. The activated our PhotoPass+ and brought us the lanyard.

We'll probably see you around! We are doing parks on the 25th (1/2 day), 26th and 27th (full days), Legoland on the 28th, back to DL/DCA on the 29th (full day), Huntington Beach on the 30th, and DL/DCA on the 31st (1/2 day). The only day I am debating is the Friday - maybe switching that day for the Saturday beach day?? But I am leaning towards keeping the days as planned.
