Last minute MURPHY live report from WDW and Universal 6/13-6/20

Hey everyone

Taking a last minute trip to Orlando with my Mom! We were supposed to be spending the week at the beach, but decided to cancel after the flooding and mess in Tampa. We heard the beaches were pretty wet and puddled.

We are at the airport now and we basically have zero plans for this week. I found a room at Portofino and did manage to grab a few fastpasses at WDW. Should be quite interesting!!!

I'll post lots of pics here as well as reports on new stuff.

Just arrived at Portofino and we got a double upgrade!!!!! From garden view up to deluxe bay view.

I have been following you for awhile but my first time posting. Love your trip reports!! Your room at Portofino looks wonderful! I have never been to universal but the resort looks beautiful! Have fun with your Mom!!

Loving the color pallet in the room. That ottoman almost could be called a hidden Mickey though The bathrooms are just as big as I remember, I've stayed in hotel rooms the size of that bathroom!

You should try it!! Universal is great. Especially if you're a Harry Potter fan.

Thanks Erica! Yes I should try it because I am a Harry Potter fan as is my daughter. We both joke that the sky would fall if we entered universal because we are such HUGE Disney fans but maybe one of these days....
