I really want to get a disney Cinderealla dress for my 3 year for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. ( We leave in 10 days). I was going to get one earlier but my mother in law said she would for my daughters birthday yesterday! However, the one she got me was really short and ratty, ( I think she got it from the thrift store she works at). Anyways could I get the dress at DTD or should I order it on-line and are the prices the same???
We are eating lunch at AG one of the days we are there!!!

You will be able to find one at DTD with no trouble, but it will be more expensive than if you order it online. The ones at Disneyland are typically more expensive. So if you can order it online and get free shipping (they have free shipping on orders of $75 or more right now, so you could throw in some other souvenirs...) that would save you some money.

When I saw the prices at DL on some of the dresses I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone said how awful they were but I didn't think it was TOO crazy considering where you are, ya know? But yeah if you order at home it's probably cheaper..I just couldn't take the chance

You can get them in DTD like others said, or online for chepaer. It, more than likely, will not be the same dress however. The dresses online are the dresses that are sold in Disney Stores, and right now, there are 3 different Cinderella dresses available. The classic dress for about $45 (not the cutest IMO), a Cinderella wedding dress for about $80, and the deluxe, singing Cinderella dress for $150. It is gorgeous to say the least!! Although my co worker doesnt like that one at all!! Lol

I have always thought the quality of the dresses seemed better from the stores than from the parks, and they are cheaper. Just my 2 cents.

You could try *this* ebay seller. She has the same dresses available at the Disney Parks her prices however are much lower, not sure how she does it but I don't mind at all. I'd BIN now and let her know you need it quick!

Here's a 4/5, if you'd prefer a 2/3 contact her via Contact Member *left side of screen near the top.

Target also has Disney princess dresses. That's where all of DD's are from. They're not as extravagant as the Disney Store ones, but they work just fine for her.

This seller is awesome. We always buy our disney dresses through her. She sells the resort dresses at a Disney Store price. She ships really fast too. DTD will have the same prices for the dresses as BBB...which is a lot of $$$. That's why I love using this ebay seller.

I have to admit I am a bit of a princess dress snob. My SIL gave DD all of her cousin's princess dress collection...boy did we score! My SIL's sister and her husband are both Disney executives that bought our nieces Disney dresses from the resorts all over the world. My favorite is a Cinderella dress from Disneyland Paris...comes with a full hoop skirt.
There is a difference between resort dresses and those sold at the Disney Store and other merchants. Unfortunately, you pay quite a bit more though...at least 2x.

I don't know where in WA state you are :wave2:but if you are close enough to Vancouver, BC, then you could go to Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, BC, they have a Disney store.:thumbsup2

It might be just as easy to check out your local Costco...our Costco is already "ramping" up for Halloween and Christmas and as such they have princess (Disney princess) costumes in right now for I think C$25. We also have a few of our better toy stores that carry a few princess costumes for dressup as well. I am going to try and grab a Snow White and Cinderella costume from Costco for our trip October 2012...grabbing them now of course before they sell out for Halloween.:cheer2:

Good luck!

PS/We grabbed a Minnie Mouse costume for our DD princess:for our trip 1 1/2 years ago, hid it in the back of our closet at the Hojo and for some weird :confused3 reason our DD went into the closet and all we heard was this joyful squeal :hyper:of MOMMY DADDY look what I found in the closet! :lmao: A day early but who cares?! She didn't see it in the luggage prior to the trip at least :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the help guys!!! I called our Disney store and they have it in stock but I cannot get out there until Fri, and I also went online and they have it too. However being that we are only 10 days out I do not want to risk not getting it in time. So I guess I will call again tomarrow and hope they still have it. They said they can keep it up to 24 hours. Its just that its about 1 hour drive to the Southcenter mall from where I live not too bad. I guess I was just hoping the store at DTD would have it for around the same price!!

The Costco where I live (northern CA) has Merida, Cinderella, Snow White, Tinkerbell, Belle, and Little Mermaid Dresses for $18.99. They were very pretty and seemed of good quality (definitely very sparkly!). Too bad I have boys, cause that's a great price!

Which dress are you after? Classic, wedding, or deluxe? The wedding & deluxe were just released on Monday, the classic has been available for a few weeks now. Even though the deluxe was just released on Monday, the stores get VERY limited quantities of them as they are limited edition dresses. I have all boys and I want one of the deluxe dresses. princess: Maybe someday I will have someone who will want to wear it!!

I was going to say I saw those at Costco too! They were very nice looking and seemed to come with some extras (like Merida's wig, etc). If I had girls, I buy them but I have boys too and 18 year olds at that at. I do a have one year old niece who I'm hoping will like princess soon. ;)

Ok guys for those who are interested I went to Costco and their princess dresses were not in my daughters size, she just turned 3 and the smallest size was 4-6. So I called the Disney store and they had a 2/3 Cinderella dress in stock and they are holding it for me until tomarrow. I was just intrested in the reg Cinderella dress $44.50 not the fancy other dresses. Thanks for all your help!!! Gettting ready for our trip!!!

Thanks for the link to the eBay store - I ended up getting the Aurora dress for DD for her 4th birthday.
