Hi everyone. Just booked a last minute trip for me and the misses. Leave Friday & come home Sunday night.
I just reserved all of our meals except breakfast for Sunday morning. Looking for suggestions.
Since we will have no kids we would like to avoid Crystal Palace @ MK and also Boma's @ AKL as we have experienced both extensibility.
Thanks!!!

Breakfast at the Wave is a must do for our family. Yummy!

Ice cream @ breakfast is right up my ally but DW would have to scold me about that for the rest of the day!

I know this is going to really expose me as a newbie but where is the Wave at?

It's at the Contemporary :) Check out the breakfast menu on allearsnet.com
We love the pancakes & waffles. Also the granola & yogurt & fruit is really good.

My mom loves having ice cream on the breakfast buffets and always allows my niece to partake in it as well. She always says it's just really cold milk.

As for places for breakfast, here are a few:

Olivia's Cafe (OKW)
The Wave (Contemp)
Grand Floridian Cafe (GF)
Kona Cafe (Poly)
Kouzzina (BW)
1900 Park Fare (GF)
Wolfgang Puck Express (DTD-M) this is quick service, but totally yummy

Dh and I like Kona. He loves the Big Kahuna and the press pot coffee.

Last month I asked for a side of blueberry pancakes and they were amazing.

Its a little more adult than a buffet etc.

Looks like it's either The Wave or Kona.
I have been to Kona with a bunch of business guys but my wife has never been to either of them.
We roast our own coffee beans so the press pot @ Kona does sound good.
Between the two, any comments?

Where are you staying? I hear the Fresh Mediterranean Market buffet at the Dolphin is really good. Can't wait to try it myself...plus, it's reasonably priced considering Disney's recent price hikes!

Kouzzina and the Grand Floridian Café are my favorites, and you shouldn't have a problem getting a last minute reservation or even a walk-up at either.

Those are both excellent choices, so, what she said.

My friend and I had breakfast twice at the Grand Floridian Cafe in early December. We went once and enjoyed it so much we canceled an ADR we had at Boma so we could go back to Grand Floridian Cafe. Lovely atmosphere and the food was yummy.

OK I gave the boss four choices: Kouzzina, Grand Floridian Café, Kona, and The Wave. She has picked Kona. Since we are staying way across property and will be driving, what is the best and fasted way to get to the actual resturant? Can I request to park at the hotel like we do when we go to the Grill @ The Contemporary?
Thanks!!:thumbsup2
