I notice you're in Dunfermline, can I be nosey and ask what you paid? BF and I have been considering trying for a last minute deal at some point this year.

We paid a bit over £500 each for the flight but we weren't intending to go, but it was just as expensive to get something for Spain so we thought...why not !

There are some ok deals out there but we left ut a bit too late for them. A couple of weeks ago we saw returns from Newcastle on the 23rd june for £174 each.....just couldn't manage to arrange it so quickly.

Never been at this time of year so it'll be interesting to see what we think of the weather and crowd levels although we're aiming not to "theme park" like we normally do....maybe try some new things..like exploring more of the gulf coast.

When we went to DLP in March, by the time we had eaten in the parks etc and got our souvenirs, I am sure for a few more hundred pound we could have had a cheap trip to Florida!

If you can make it to DTD on the evening of the 18th we are on the early flight landing around 3:30pm so we will probably go to DTD for a hour or so early evening. Would be great to meet you both after all these years.

Well that's a relief! Glad you got it sorted. Also a good job you seem to have got your pixie dust on past life merits. Nothing worse than getting something only to discover that you have to pay back your good fortune by good behaviour in the future. What a party killer
