Dinner at Kona - Lucky Man had the crab cake appetizer and I had the shrimp curry soup which was almost the best thing I had all trip! For entrees, LM had the Cocount Chicken, I ordered the Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi, yum
No room for dessert, so off to...the Magic! Kingdom, that is .

Would we be up bright 'n' early in the morning for our first full day at Disney World???

If you read my first lazy trip report, it will be no surprise that we slept in a bit,
with me getting up first to go get coffee

From our room, it was a few steps down the hall, out the door to the stairs outside

This was a view enjoyed many times during our trip!

a scenic walk to the Great Ceremonial House to get Kona coffee

a bit of shopping at DTD - we love March Madness and admired the "Bracket" t-shirts at Team Mickey

gotta have lunch at

two thumbs up for the club and all american!
Then, to

after swimming (ok, ok, lounging in the lazy river) where to have dinner?

another wonderful view! with the patio to ourselves

we shared the roast chicken and fruit plate

after dinner, a leisurely stroll taking our time to absorb the atmosphere

??How many animals are carved into the base of the Tree of Life??

My DD 14 is dying to have the Coconut Chicken at Kona! It is her favorite meal in WDW.

LM takes good pictures, I think. He's so happy that you like them.
He enjoyed the Coconut chicken, sorry we didn't take many food pictures. One of us might have mentioned it was embarassing to take food pictures. Ok, ok, it was me. At Flame Tree we were all alone but at Kona it was packed.

Ok is that chicken from Flame Tree just a half a chicken slapped on the plate or does it just look that way? The fact that it really just looks like 1/2 a bird laying there is a bit creepy to me. But aside from the way it LOOKS, was it tastee??? I really want to try the chicken there when we go!

Can you tell that we don't photograph our food often? I rarely eat meat so yes to me it looked a bit creepy too but honestly it was good - I'm no bbq expert but it's a very good tasting 'dry' bbq. not red or sloppy or gloppy.

the fruit plate was good also. make sure that you walk down the path by the waterfront to eat, there are nice dining areas there.

Lunch in Japan, the beef & chicken for LM, chicken combo for me

Mexico & Japan are our favorite CS in WS, France's bakery is incredible also

Lunch outside by the water watching the baby ducks

Grey Goose slush for me & a French beer for LM - four thumbs up

Then to dinner at

*Boma*

This was our second time at Boma, and we'd have to say the first dinner was better. Different foods from last time, i.e., all the soups we tried were sweet not savoury and that's not our taste. Next time we'll try breakfast.

Off to DHS!

DNiece arrived for her first visit at WDW !!

Opening at the Magic Kingdom

~ To Fantasyland ~

After flying with Peter Pan, visiting Pooh in the Hundred-Acre Wood

Then to rope drop at Pixie Hollow!

We brought clear magnetic picture frames to be signed

We criss-crossed the park a bit (TGM & Ridemax made our day!)

did Small World, Tea Cups, Buzz, had an early & excellent lunch at CHH

visited friendly spirits

BTMR!

~Calling TinkerBell!~the CM's were very sweet

Mickey's PhilHarMagic, we love this

Laugh Floor was a hoot! LM was not "that guy" but he did "need a hug"!

Gotta get a Mickey balloon! And a pink Tink hat and purple Minnie Crocs!

Wow, love the room and view. Your DH takes great pictures. The flowers are wonderful. Really gets you ready for Spring, even though it is a whopping 44 deg. here in Indiana right now.

Loved WDW in spring, we'd never been then! And the crowds weren't too crazy. We used Tour Guide Mike and RideMax, first time for both and found them both extremely helpful. Can't imagine just winging it when you NEED to get things done, and we really wanted DNiece to have a wonderful first trip.

It's SNOWING here!!! All things considered, I'd rather be getting a coffee at Kona Island and hopping over to the MK!!

Great job so far! Look at the front of Epcot! Wow! I love it. We missed the F & G festival by a couple of days. They had some things out but most were covered up. Next year I'm going for that and Star Wars weekends!

Love all the pictures. I can tell you were already planning what to put into your report while you were (ahem I mean luckyman) was taking them.

Did you think about Cindy and my Dh while you were in the haunted mansion?
