Last Dinner at MK

What restaurant would you choose for your last night at the MK? We have 2 boys, ages 6 & 4. I would like to make it special, so I thought of CRT since we've never done that one, but I wasn't happy that the characters don't come to your table. What other restaurants would you suggest? The MK closes at 7pm our last night because of the holiday party, so we were planning on having a late dinner (7pm or later). We have a car, so we're willing to drive if we need too, but we're thinking of staying close to MK.

We will be doing Chef Mickey's our first night, so I'd like to try another restaurant preferably at one of the hotels or MK since we will not have park hoppers.

something a little different - go to Downtown Disney for the evening. Have dinner at T-Rex and have fun. Even though it is not Disney themed, it is a restaurant unlike any other. Usually our family likes to go to DD and go through the the stores there, esp Lego's. We reflect on the trip, pick up a last minute souvenir or two, maybe some ice cream at Giradelli's.

Thanks for the reply. T-rex sounds fun. We're planning on doing DTD on our very last day after all the parks. We're driving home so I thought we could go to DTD in the morning and then start our drive afterwards.

Any other suggestions?

Your boys might have fun at Whispering Canyon Cafe. And the Wilderness Lodge is close to MK.

our boys were 6 and 5 last year and LOVED whispering canyon, its the first place they want to go to this year!

Crystal Palace at the MK has Winnie the Pooh & Friends. We always have had a great time there.

'Ohana at the Poly has fun activities for kids, has good food, and is on the monorail.

1900ParkFair at the GF has Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the "ugly stepsisters." People say they are very funny. We've had dinner there in the past and enjoyed it. It's also on the monorail.

Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL is fun, too.

Are you only interested in theme/character dining? If so, how about The Crystal Palace? Alternatively you might consider Ohana or Kona at the Poly; California Grill or The Wave at the Contemporary Resort. Whispering Canyon has already been mentioned. That would be another nice option.

Hello I am a newbie at Saratoga Springs. I was wondering if you could tell me about the studio rooms. Is the coffee pot one of those mini pots or is it a full size pot.
Do you know anything about the dishes in the room?
I am so excited and nervous becaue it is our first DVC stay...anything you can share is appreciated.
