lanyards & pins

Are you allowed to have a lanyard and pins in a carry on bag or will DDs be allowed to wear there lanyards & pins on the plane? We were not planning on checking any bags for our short trip and didn't know if we could have them in our carry on bags or be allowed to wear them. Wouldn't want them to be confiscated!

Well, you would have to take them off for the metal detectors, but other than that, there would be no reason why she could not wear them on the plane. Personally, I find the lanyard to be heavy and uncomfortable. For the sake of comfort and the possibility of losing the lanyard or pins or pinbacks, I would just leave the lanyard and pins in the carryon.
