LaNouba or HDDR?

DH & I saw HDDR a few yrs ago. We've never seen LaNouba or any Cirque shows. My MIL is coming with us & we wanted to treat her to a show. It will be us 3 adults + my DS(7). Which show would you suggest would be the best for us to treat her? Thanks for your input!

I think it depends on her taste. We've done both, HDDR is a hootin hollerin great time, and Cirque is more of a surreal acrobatics+ show. If you think she would love the festive, loud, hilarious atmosphere of HDDR, I would go with that. If you want to be impressed by acrobats, jugglers, etc in a more surreal environment, then Cirque is your choice.

I'm not sure how much my 7 year old would like Cirque. We did an adults only night when we saw it. I think our kids would like it, but not to the extent they liked HDDR. However, you've already seen HDDR, so that's kind of a minus.

Both are excellent.

I agree with it would depend on the type of "mood" you are going for and What your meal plans are also.

As you've done it you know that HDDR comes with the meal and that its a more loud , in your face, casual show (all of this is a good thing in my opinion) and it might provide more of a comedic element for the 7 year old.

La Nouba on the other hand is more of a sight to see type of show full of different jaw dropping moments for all involved. They have several BMX type style stunts and children performers which will keep your 7 year old entertained. But I would suggest going to DTD early enough to pick up some actual food in snack form as if I recall correctly they only serve candy and popcorn in the show and its no fun to try and ignore a grumbling tummy
