LaNouba for a 4-5 year old?

Could anyone who has taken a 4-5 year old to LaNouba give me a quick report on how the child responded to the show? Bored? Excited?

We took our then-four-year-old daughter two years ago. She seemed mesmerized by the show with the performers, the music, the lighting... I do remember that she climbed on my lap at one point during the show, probably because she was tired. The show is a bit long for this age group. But if your child can sit still for a time, I think s/he will love it. We also splurged on lots of refreshments, which can help .

I just asked her if she remembers this show and she said no... I guess it's time to go again!

I took my twins last year when they were 4. They both loved it and keep asking to go back. There really was so much going on that it keep their attention the entire time. The girls are also pretty good about sitting still. One of my daughters did even up sitting in my lap but I think that's because she wanted to see better!

My child was 7 when we took him, but he is ADHD and to my amazement, he sat still the whole time. Usually there is more than one thing going at the same time, so they have a lot to watch. I recommend sitting in the upper areas, we were on the third row to the side and you couldn't see one part of the show too well, I don't want to say what part because if you don't know everything in the show already, I don't want to spoil it for you. We've taken our daughters twice. Once when they were 4 & 11, then again at 5 & 12. They both loved it so much that we've taken them to other Cirque shows that have come to Los Angeles. La Nouba is more of a child friendly Cirque show. The story line is easier for children to understand than let's say Quidam or Drallion. Plus my kids love the two clown characters in La Nouba!
