Landrys club??

I know that at one time I had seen a post about a club that Landry's was doing that included T-Rex. It was $25 for the sign up which gave you a $25 gift cadr and then there were special "perks" to go with it, like free $25 on your birthday month. Anyone know anything about this. Is it over Am I too late??

It's still alive and well. As I recall, it was $25 to sign up and that is credited back to you in money to use at the selected Landry's-owned establishments. I signed up in Oct, and DW & I went to T-Rex this past weekend and used the $25 sign-up bonus & the $25 for my birthday (it was at the beginning of the month). We split an app, had an entree each and I had a soft drink (DW had water...no charge) and the total came to about $53 pretax, so we spent about $14 after tip and what was leftover on the bill. We really enjoyed T-Rex as well, for what it's worth.

If you have a local restaurant nearby, you might want to call and see if they are running any signup specials. We were in a Rainforest cafe in the spring and signed up for $10. So far it has definitely paid for itself. I get coupons by email occassionally for extra percentage off in their gift shop, email reminders for different events at our local restaurant.

Thanks so much guys!! I signed up, how long did it take to get your card and can I still use my $$ off if I don't have it and just give them my phone #? Just wondering if you know. And SCHIMJ it is worth a lot to know you enjoyed it. I almost cancelled it.

It didn't take long at all to get the card in the mail. It said something like 4-6 weeks on the website, but from what I remember, it was more like 3 weeks. I think the card is needed for redemption of rewards, but if you forget your card, you are able to give them your phone # to have the money spent credited towards your next $25 certificate. One nice thing we found out: unlike most discount/frequent shopper cards, when you use the Landry's money, it still counts towards your running total for the next certificate.
