Help, it's getting close enough to our vacation that I'm trying to make our PS and park plans. Here is my question:
On the day you sail as part of the land and sea vacation are we still able to catch the cruise line bus from Animal Kingdom? Or any other park? What time do we need to catch the buy by? Is our luggage wisked away by the Disney Cruise faries in the morning?

Thanks!

As far as I understand, you can still do the Animal Kingdom pickup. You leave your luggage outside your hotel room. When you arrive at Animal Kingdom you check in at the Cruise Desk and leave you carry on luggage with them. The bus boards at 12:15 for port and leaves at 12:30. Someone told me you have to do the Character Breakfast at Animal Kingdom to do this pickup. I am unsure of this. Any past Cruisers (Please put your input)
Hope this helps!!!

Just got off the ship yesterday.... Yes, the Animal Kingdom bus was available. I think it left the park around 12:30. I didn't think that the Character Breakfast was mandatory, just an option.

We needed to leave our luggage in the room by 8am. We did a relaxed character breakfast at the hotel that morning, and just picked up a bus there. It left the Polynesian at noon. Hope this helps!

Buses leave the resorts anywhere from 11:30 - 12:45 depending on the resort. The Grand Floridian is the first one at 11:30. Each resort only has one time. Animal Kingdom did not require the character breakfast. You did have to make reservations for that bus so that they knew how many riders they have at each location. That way they have the right number of buses at each resort and Animal Kingdom. You could go to another park, then catch the bus back to the resort, but Animal Kingdom is the only park the service is offered from. Guess it is because the park opens early, so you have more time to do activities. It also probably helps attendance there, and most people only spend a few hours there anyways.

we are not using Disney transportation but we are considering going to AK on Sunday morning (land/sea package). Here's are the questions, will we need to buy a seperate ticket for the park for that day? And how long does it take to get to the port?
