We ate at the new Sunshine Seasons at the land on June 4, our first day of our 2 week trip. We used to love the old land restaurant and would eat there multiple days - well that changed with the new one.

I got the tofu noodle bowl which tasted okay, but was really tiny and cost more than it should have. It was kind of spicy and had lots of broth but not a lot of substance - a few noodles, vegies, and tofu. A few people got salads which they also said were mediocore and weren't worth the high price. The bread that came with them they didn't like - it was a flatbread type that was under the salad. One person got a sandwhich and said it was good, and looked okay to me.

The desserts were good and some were still the same like the key lime pie and strawberry shortcake.

The drinks are get your own but there are no refills since it's on the inside of the cash registers. The nice part is being able to get everything from different stations and only pay once.

Basically compared to the old foodcourt the new one's selections aren't as good and prices are too high for such small portions. We missed the pasta and the BBQ stations from before.

I had read mixed reviews before we left and was looking forward to it but now I wish it hadn't changed. Basically the overall land has a different feel than it used too. The bathrooms get crowded with Soarin' now. Oh' and there is no gift shop anymore. I loved Soarin' though.

Oh well, this is just my opinion, but was wondering what everyone else thinks of the new Land.

:sad1: Sorry you didn't like the new food court. I haven't been to the new one yet, but I really liked the old one. I am going in August and will be checking it out. Thanks for the review.

DH and I were there beginning of May, and I was leery of the Sunshine Grill, but we loved it. He got the salmon with mashed potatoes and I got the flatbread with steak and salad. We were both stuffed and thought the price was great for the amount and quality that we got. Maybe it's just the food you tried?

The new food court offerings make me scared! :(

We considered eating at Seasons, looked at the menu and ended up walking over to the UK and getting take out fish & chips! Sounds like we made the right decision. Thanks for your review!

I, too enjoyed the salmon. THe potatoes were great. My DD, and DH, got the noodle bowls. They liked them, but DH could have eaten more. younger DD enjoyed the rot. chicken. We all liked the desserts. Strawberry shortcake tasted very good, and flan was good too. Our other dessert, was a fruit bowl.

On another day, DH, go the foccacia (sp?) w/ turkey, and thought it was really good.

We had never been there before. We hadn't eaten much counter service in our previous trips. Sounds like the menu was a bit better before though. BBQ- YUM!!

I really wish they hadn't tinkered with the Sunshine Seasons Food Fair. In the past, there were lots of choices and prices were reasonable. I realize they had to change the seating to accomodate the traffic from Soarin' but so far I'm not keen on their newer food offerings. I think it is great they are offering a few more vegetarian items, but I wish they still had some of the food offerings from the past ie, the baked potato stand, pasta dishes, and ribs, etc... I also wish Disney would get off their Foccacia kick. I like it once in awhile, but not with every sandwich.
