We are doing a 3 day land/4 day sea package in October. Once I have checked into the hotel, do I have to stand in line again at the port to check into the cruise?

Any things I should know for a first time cruiser.. We have done disney plenty, but never added on the cruise.

Thanks

In order to avoid checking in at the port, you need to check in at the DCL desk at your resort. But be aware that the hours at the DCL desk are somewhat limited. Enjoy your trip!

Hi there: we are camping at FW for 4 days prior to the cruise. Can we check in for the cruise there as well?

:wave2: Hi Marylou...I dont think you can check in at the campground. You have to purchase a land/sea package to check in at your hotel prior to your boarding the ship.....hope this helps...

If you are a non-US resident, you have to check in at Port. They will not allow you to do this at the resort but they will organize your paperwork and put it in a "special" blue folder for quicker processing once you are at port. If you are taking the DCL transfer bus to port they will tell you when and where to meet to catch the bus. They will pick up your luggage before hand and transfer it to your stateroom for you. They will take your passport and give you a receipt so that you can claim it before you go through immigration the day you debark (for us it was 6:00am-ouch!)
