Hey, I could turn that $0.24 into $24 at CVS :thumbsup2 Don't you know I am the CVS Queen over there  I say run around and turn on everything in the house while screaming "na-na na-na I'm on the budget plan"

If you can only make that 24 cents into 24 dollars you must be having a bad day:lmao: :rotfl:

OK...lost the koolaid, but I think I like the new signature.

Well what a morning,
DH John who I have to say is the best. John just brought me coffee in bed and a rose and the news paper. Now he is out side with using the snow blower.

Plow people are STUPID!!! At least the ones in my town. We are expecting up to like a foot of snow. I have to be to work at 9:30 so I go out to shovel the 4-6 inches in the driveway. We live on a corner lot and there is a fire hydrant on my corner so you would THINK that the plow people would plow the snow onto the other 3 corners WITHOUT a fire hydrant :confused3 Now they do not shovel out fire hydrants around here, they ask the neighborhoods to please do it if you have one near your property - they snow plow the sidewalks but screw the fire hydrants. So the guy rolls down his window when he realized I'm yelling at him and telling him he is a moron. He says the town says to "clean up the corners" so I tell him "well, there are 3 other corners without a fire hydrant and he better hope we don't have a fire in the house because I will sue the town because they plowed it in and the FD can't get to it!" Now I really don't care where they put the snow (I have a suggestion!) and it really doesn't impact us as far as making us shovel out more because of them putting it there (only if we do shovel out the hydrant) but does it make ANY sense to bury a fire hydrant???

Thank you, rant over!

The guy is a jerk.
Where we live they never did a great job plowing until the town put a firestaion down the road from us. Now I have one of the bese plowed roads in town. John not only has to clean out the hydrant but the strom dains also.

Wow! Mucho impressed over the cakes!

My MIL decorates cakes. She offered to teach me once way back when. I managed to avoid learning and she still does it when the need arises. ;)

I have tried to figure out how to get those pictures in my signature. Not happenin'.

Good morning.

Party was pretty fun last night. It wasn't the gossipy moms it was the nice moms. One of them was gossipy, she always is though. It was cute party themed around frogs because of leap day. The girls had a good time. I'm not so sure Mom liked our present. We bought a beading kit for necklaces and things. It had a lot of beads, I wasn't thinking that she has younger siblings at home. :headache: Hopefully no one will swallow them, or mom just puts it away for a different day.

Denise those cakes were great.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...gotta get my butt in gear. Gotta be on campus in 20 min. Stupid alarm clock. Says it's 5:45 when it is 7:30.

Is there a smiley for running around like a lunatic?

Shay Thank you so much, we got your mail today. DS10 is psyched:hug:

:woohoo: :woohoo: I survived Walmart on a Saturday morning with all 3 kids :woohoo: :woohoo:

#2DS got his new Car cars & he said he will use the potty today so he can get the Sally we bought. Keep fingers crossed.
Got almost all the stuff we need for #1DS to make the covered wagon for his school project, but need to find wheels :headache:

Now we are home and I have to do laundry cause all of the kids are out of clean pants.

We have a fire hydrant in our yard. We live in a circle--a small one-- and there's no good place to put plowed snow. The jerk on the corner was getting tired of the huge pile in his yard so he went out to meet the plow one time and told him to put it in our yard instead (no love lost there--thatnk God they moved!). The idiot plow driver listed, puched it up over the curb and into our yard. The kids loved that pile of snow, BTW. Anyway, as we were digging out the fire hydrant we just kept going and going and never found it. It showed up 6 weeks later when that 6ft pile melted--in the middle of our front yard! Fortunately there is an auto shut off so we didn't have water spraying--and freezing--like in the movies. We called the FD to let them know and they called the county, who chewed out the driver and the jerk on the corner (and now the new, nice family) has had the snow piled in his yard ever since. My DS wishes they would put it back in ours. Thankfully we usually only get 1-2 snow that are 6"+ so it's really not that big of a deal.

:thanks:
I shoulda tried that--exceot my mom and MIL both are not cooks or bakers:lmao: . I just took a class to get out of the house when DS was a tiny baby. Used to go all out on cakes but I hardly ever do them anymore. Trust me, those cakes have many flaws and I was unhappy about each one, but then I got over it.

Have a great rest of the day. DD made the cut for finals (actually won prelims:banana: ) so we have to go back while she swims the 200 Breaststroke. Maybe we'll stop at Cracker Barrel for dinner (I would do the drive thru but she needs real food because we've gotta go back and do it tomorrowand again next week for the championship meet, but that'a a good thing I guess) Wish us (her) luck!

Wow that was fast. I am glad he is thrilled. I hope his class kicks butt.
Kellie

yes it was, he says they were leading on Friday and he hasnt even brought in yours or Kaw's yet. And I think my mom is bringing some over on Mon. Hey if they do lose it certainly isnt our fault or for lack or trying.:lmao:
