Do you have a party supply store near you? Somewhere in the cocktail accessories, there should be ones that are little plastic swords.

What up losers,
I am kinda in a funk today. I have a boss that I would love to slap. I have three bosses and in pecking order there is boss A that is great would not trade him for the world. Boss B is also great. These two are so worried about me being sick and are always making sure I am okay. Then there is boss C who I have decided I will no longer speak to unless it is work related. He has made a couple of remarks that have just hurt me to the core of my sole. I thought for a while it was just me being moody with everything going on. But it is not me. One of my friends from another department ended up yelling at him for a something he said. He has decided that me being sick is a drama in his life that I threw at him. He is so sweet. Not. So today he made a couple of rude remarks to me when I was trying help him to his job. So I nicely said I think we can no longer deal with each other so you will need to find someone else to show you how to do this. I got up and work from his office to mine. But what I wanted to do is slap him and then call DH JOhn have him come up and slap the sh&t out of him

So I got my new budget power bill today. I could have sworn I just paid the power bill. Anywhoos under the budget plan I pay $60 a month right. So I turned the bill over to see what the actual usage was...get this...$60.24.

I saved a whopping 24 cents by switching to the budget plan. Oh whatever am I going to do with all this newfound cash?







Maybe I should also go post this on the budget board.

I agree. When we lived in South Dakota and went with the softball team to the state tournament they were talking about who was rooming with whom. Some of them were trying to figure out who we could share a room with. Dude, we're staying at the Motel 6, I think we can swing two nights. Plus, once you're married there's nothing that beats hotel whoopie.

OK--back from the night's events but don't have time to run to the lounge--you're all wither over there or you have lives on the Friday night.

The swim meet went well DD finished her 50 in under 30 sec (her goal all year) and dropped :35 from her 100 yd time. We have to leave again tomorrow am at 6:40 I have got to get some sleep before then. If she does well in the am, she goes back for finals in the evening. Great.

It's official he is a Boy Scout. Here are the cakes I've spent my last 2 days on.

My winner moment for the year is over. I felt so bad, that I wasn't there for DS. He even had a nice flower to present to me (a thanks for all my help) and I wasn't there to receive it.
I was so glad I was there for DD, though. She was very happy with her progress. She said her friend Gabby's dad just dropped her off and then he wouldn't come back to give her a ride home--told her to find a ride from someone there. ***?? Why are some people like that? This poor girl never has her parents at the meets. I understand they have stuff going on--don't we all--but to never make it?

OK--off my soapbox and off to bed.

1st Holy cow!!!! Decorate cakes.....they are better than some bakery ones I've seen!!! Nice job & definitely a winner mom moment!!! Just remember you got your "obligations" out of the way early in 08 so no more till 09. Then we will title that "the WHINE of 09"

2nd congrats to both!!! I am sure your dd is very pleased with herself and should be! Give her a high five from us Losers. And congrats to DS for moving up the ranks! It's hard work to be in those troops!

Hey, I could turn that $0.24 into $24 at CVS Don't you know I am the CVS Queen over there I say run around and turn on everything in the house while screaming "na-na na-na I'm on the budget plan"

I think we need to make my friend A (name withheld to protect the not so innocent) an honorary Loser. Tonight I was over at her house to watch movies and I noticed their house was about a Cleancon 3. Apparently her DH...we shall call him C cleaned because a repairman was coming. A is normally just like...whatever. So she picked up KFC tonight but their 2 year old DS kept going to the front door saying "pizza pizza". Apparently they order pizza alot. He was expecting the pizza guy to come. Boy was he upset when we kept telling him there was no pizza. I had a good laugh about it.

Yeah I dont get why someparents dont come. I know I miss some fi the younger guy is sick or when he still napped or it was raining and I wasnt about to bring a newborn to the ball field but I havent missed too many. I remember DS10 first parade for baseball. He was in Tball, and they all got to march. I thought to myself how am I going to do this with an infant (DS5 was 4 months old) So we went and I stood in the drizzle with DS5 bundled up and an umbrella over his stroller. I lasted for the pciture and the wave that was it. But he thought momy was there the whole time

Next year it is sunny for the parade, so once again DS is in the stroller. Well it had rained the night before and they directed everyone to park on the lawn. So I do the wave and picture and even listen to the National Anthem and then decided to leave. DS is pretty hungry at this point and we live 5 minutes fromt he field. Well I am stuck in the mud, wheels spinning, DS is now wailing louder, and everyone is still up at the ball field doing whatever they do during opening cermonies.

So people start filtering down, one guy refused to help me, DH didnt have his cell turned on bc he was standing on the field. Finally my fomer BF brother comes up and he winds up pushing us out of there. Turns out every car had to be pushed out of this field that day except the SUVs.

Yall remember how I told you that I avoid airports at all costs? Hmmpf, seems as though I've been volunteered to go pick up hubby this morning. That'll be a nice 2 and 1/2 hour drive (one way). I asked hubby wth I was supposed to do with the sick kid, because I just know since he isn't feeling well that his car sickness is going to act up.

He tells me to take the kids to his moms. Fine for him, but he isn't the one that has to listen to two crying kids because they don't wanna go to grandma's house this morning. The sick one wants to stay home, and the little one wants to go with me.

I'm going to have a fight on my hands.

On a lighter note, the 3 year old is using a straw as a microphone and singing "Purple Rain" at the top of his lungs. The performance is now over, he just thanked the crowd and applauded himself.

Ok, well, I'm off, I have to go battle the crazy driving Baltimorons. Wish me luck!
