Land at 1345 time to parks

I land at MOC Orlando Int"l airport at 1345 on Wednesday Dec 8th. Need to rent a car. What time can I make it to the parks?

If you are staying on property...my guess is about 4:00 to 4:30...breaks down like this...
1:45...assuming your plane arrives on time it will probably take you a half hour to 45 mins to get your bags...2:15...carry your bags out to the curb and catch the shuttle to your rental place and get the car...45 mins to an hour...3:00...drive to WDW, park and check in about an hour and a half...4:30...hit the parks...just an estimate...I have never rented a car...always took shuttles.

I would pre-book your rental car. You don't want to have to spend a lot of time doing that at the airport.

We arrived in Feb on a Sat around 10 AM and were walking around the parks by 12:30.

We did the towncar thing, QuickSilver was great. This time we are going to rent a car. We want to resort hop and see all the decorations our first day before our HDDR reservations that night. Pre reserve your car and you should be fine...

Have decided to not go to a park first day. Will probably check out downtown disney or maybe a dinner show. My wife read something about touring a 50 room Mansion anyone hear of this?

You probably would not arrive on Disney property much before 4pm and then you need to get settled in. Since during that time frame the parks close fairly early, other than EPCOT it is probably a good idea to head to downtown Disney or some other activity....how bout a ps for a character meal? Or touring some of the resorts to check out their holiday decorations, I love the GF and WL. Having a character meal would at least get you into the Disney spirit! Added note, sometimes the weather in Dec. can be iffy so plan on some days being cool to cold to others being warm to hot.
