We are contemplating take the 3 night land/4 night sea from Dec. 15 - 22 2005 (next year) and were wondering if that would be a good time to cruise. We thought it would be a nice Christmas present for everyone, then we could head to my in-laws for Christmas right after we get back. What do you think?

We did the land and sea in 2000. First we spent 3 days in WDW and then 4 days on the Wonder. Our cruise started on Dec 24 so they rearranged the days at Sea so that we would be at sea on Christmas and then in Nassau. WDW was so beautiful at Christmas with all of the decorations. I wouldn't do Christmas at sea again until my boys got older. It was hard for santa to come to the boat and then home. But if you go early I think you would have a great time.

If I were you I would re-think the in-law thing.

Other than that I am taking that same exactly land/sea cruise this year, so I will tell you how it went when I get back on the 23rd.

I think it would be a wonderful thing to do. Any DCL cruise is better than no DCL cruise. Hope you go for it - I know you will enjoy yourselves and what a Christmas present to remember. - Mike

Can't tell you personally about the cruise during Christmas until 2005, but WDW is great during Christmas.

We met a passenger on the ship, two weeks ago, and she told us about the christmas crusie and her description sounds fantastic.

BTW alwatlers; we used to visit MIL overseas and the "story" is that Santa knows where the kids are so he delivered some gifts there and also some at home...:D
