We arrived in Florida at 9:45 pm so I figured that I could save a bunch by staying off site for the first night and I added one more because we were going to Sea World. I chose LBV suites becuase there were six of us and the free breakfast.

I went to this hotel thinking it was going to be like the Doubletree suites. Well, it was not. The living area was so small and dreary, the bedroom was small too. At the Doubletree, both were nice and comfortable.

The free breakfast, they can keep it. I have heard that it wasn't that good, but I figured it would be OK, I mean really, how can you mess up scrambled eggs. I'll tell you, they don't cook anything, they just heat it up. The eggs were so runny, it was awful. The ham, bacon, and hash were NOT cooked, just warmed. Pancakes, waffles and french toast sticks, yucky and soggy. Again, just heated. There is a place where you can get toast and eggs made to order, well, I thought I could get two eggs over hard and toast, he gave me cold toast that was sitting there so long and he kept spraying an aerosol spray ( I am assuming a non stick spray) all over the grill and on my eggs while they were cooking, I kid you not, they were rubbery when they were done. I should say, in my previous life, I was a manager of a breakfast/dinner rest. sort of like IHOP and we would never use aerosol spray and even if we did, why would you ever spray it on eggs already on the grill.

Well, I know that was harsh, and I am not a usual poster, but I have gotten so much information from this site and Mousesavers that I think that anyone planning on staying here for the free breakfast like I did needs to know, because I am a firm believer that you never start off your day without:

1, a good breakfast
2, a good attitude
3, and I love you and
4, a smile on your face

All except for #3 was not possible with a yucky breakfast and complaining kids.

Oh, I forgot to add, if you don't get there early, like before 7 am, then the line is so long and the tables are all taken. Luckily we did get there early but there were plenty of people that didn't.

Thanks for the information. It is always helpful to hear other people's experiences. I don't think I will be staying here anytime soon.
