Laissez les bon temps Rouler...Feb 2010 2/20 MK Last part of the Night updt 9/70 pg65

Yep. Never riding MS. So much enclosed space for me! But how awesome you guys were there that early!

I don't ride MS either. That is a Dennis and Michelle thing. I think Michelle only does it to appease Dennis. On our second day there no one would ride it with him. He pouted.

Great morning at Epcot! After looking at the MS pictures, I don't think I'm ever riding it!! :scared1: Not even the green side. I don't like small spaces at all! Love the Living with the Land pictures. I know a lot of people think it's boring, but I really love it. I want to do the Behind the Seeds tour sometime.

I can't take credit for the picture, Dennis took it. He has a much better perspective than I do.

We were so looking forward to finding the trolls. I guess they aren't back yet, did y'all see them on this last trip?

Mexico is still a mess? Bummer.

Nope, the trolls were still gone. Bummer!

Michelle has started a pre-trip report for a trip she is planning for her and 3 friends. The trip isn't until December 11 at which time they will all be 21. Please help her plan her trip.

Awesome!!

I had never noticed the trolls hiding before until I saw some pictures in a trip report. We were just there in June, granted I didn't spend a lot of time in Norway, but while we were passing through I was trying to see if I could see one and didn't. Now at least I know it wasn't my poor detecting skills :rolleyes1 Fortunately I didn't tell hubby and the boys about them only to find out they were gone - they don't spend the time on the Disney sites that I do, but when I try to tell them something new or unnoticed they like to argue with me that I don't know what I am talking about (until I prove that I do!;)) Hidden trolls would not have gone my way :rolleyes1

Mission Space isn't for me either.

We love Living with the Land. This was one of those rides we didn't do until our 3rd visit and since then we don't miss it. I would love to do the tour too.

I was very disappointed they weren't there. Danielle and I wanted to show them to Dennis and Michelle. We looked pretty silly that they weren't there. We asked one of the CMs and she had no idea what we were talking about. At least I have pictures from our trip last year to prove they were there. It wasn't like I claimed to see little green men or leprechauns.

:rotfl: Did you get a pic of him pouting?!

Great start to the trip for the first day:thumbsup2

I agree with Blue..great picture of the Land...great going Dennis.

Soarin is a good first thrill ride. going up and down is a great intro to thrills, but still fun for the whole family.

Hi! I'm finally caught up on your report! Those MS pics are hilarious! I tried to get some on it but my girls are so little they barely made it in the frame of the pic!

Love the LWTL pics - we adore that ride - it's so interesting!

That's cool that Drew Brees stayed in the castle. We were there that day but were headed to Epcot on the day after their Superbowl victory. I heard he was there but didn't know about the castle - cool!! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to princesses!! :goodvibes

Thanks Jordan!

I just told Dennis about the kudos he received for his picture taking and he's just as proud as a roster in a hen house.

Soarin' was the perfect ride to start Lauren off with. She loved it and it helped build her trust with us that yes the rides weren't that bad are were actually fun.

:welcome: Sara! I'm so glad to have you. I've enjoyed so many of your reports. And for anyone reading this please check out her reports they're great and her family is beautiful.

The MS pictures came out okay but we have some even funnier ones from another trip. Poor Michelle she always has to ride with Dennis and she makes the funniest faces.

I would love to have been there when Drew was there. Both Jordan and Blue got to see him in the parade.

Living with the Land is a family must do!:thumbsup2

Princess coming up this week. I'm trying to recover from the birthday slumber party last night. I finally went to bed at 3:15 a.m. and couldn't sleep. I was back up at 7. I might post some pictures from the birthday celebrations.

Thanks Jordan!

Cant wait to see more of his pictures...

Well this time last year Danielle and I were at Disney World celebrating her birthday. We couldn't top that this year but at least we were all together. Michelle's 20th birthday was Wednesday and Danielle's 11th birthday was yesterday. To celebrate this year we combined the parties and had a big slumber party for both girls. We started the celebrating with our family dinner Thursday night for both girls. We had dinner at the local Mexican place right outside the neighborhood. If you followed along on my other report this was the place we did Karaoke at the night before we left. No Karaoke this time, just food. We only had our family, Jada and Lauren. After diner we returned home for presents and ice cream cake.

Michelle got the Reese's basket on her actual birthday but still hasn't eaten any of it.

The girls opening their presents from us.

Cake time.

One of the present Danielle got was the Wii "Just Dance" game. Of course we had to try it out. It was a blast. Everyone did it but Dennis.

On Friday Danielle was up early and wanted to go to Summer Camp. She could have stayed home since I had taken off to get ready, but she wanted to go to camp with her friends.

I hit the store after I dropped her off, then returned home to clean. Michelle had a test but came home after to help get clean and get ready. She was a huge help! We were expecting about 10 little girls, family and a few big girls too. Originally the plan was for the big girls to give the little girls makeovers. Michelle didn't know about us getting Danielle the game. Once the game was pulled out the plan changed. We never got around to makeovers because everyone wanted to play. We removed some furniture and move some of it around to make more room to dance. Michelle picked 2 more motion sensors so we could have 4 players at a time. Everyone had a blast playing.

First 2 pictures of all our hard work on the food.

Dance Pictures in next post.

The big girls played right along with the little girls.

Here's my sister Tasha getting in on the action.

Big kids and adults doing "Eye of the Tiger".

A break for presents.

Notice how Danielle's friends are almost on top of her while she opens presents. When Michelle started her friends were all sitting along the wall.

We told them they had to sit up close just like Danielle's friends.

More dance pictures!

This is one of my favorites! I think this is from "I like to Move it Move it" It's the starting position.

This is Tasha's family doing "You Can't Touch This".

We got to the point that the girls were dancing along even if they didn't have controllers.

Notice LeAnn in the background dancing along with the little girls.

Here's Max looking for some quiet time in the front room away from the dancing.

We made Raspberry Lemonade for one of the drinks offered. Michelle brought home this server from work that they didn't use anymore. Read the label carefully.

There was no vodka in the tea! I didn't really think anything of it until Dennis heard two of the little girls talking about how they couldn't have any because it had alcohol in it. After laughing about that we staged these photos.

We had crafts for the girls to do. The decorated hats and koozies.

A little more dancing.

Party Pics!

More party pics.

We decorated cookies.

The big girls retired to Michelle's room to have their girl talk and the little girls ruled the living room. Dennis took his Advil PM and went to bed. A little after midnight I decreed it was time to settle down put on night clothes. We cleared the living room and started putting down blankets. I told them to pick out a movie. After about 30 minutes of not everyone complying I picked out a movie "Mama Mia" and made everyone stay in the living room. I wish I could say it went well but I can't. I eventually had to pull the mean Mommy card. Finally some girls started falling asleep but I still had some rowdy ones. Danielle was part of the first group to go out. After the movie was over the girls wanted to see "Aquamarine". I put that in and soon most of the girls were out. I fell sleep on the couch. Around 3 I thought they were all out but one was still quietly watching. I let the movie finish then called lights out. I was in bed a little after 3:15.

We had fun but I don't think I'll do this again for a while.
