Laissez les bon temps Rouler...Feb 2010 2/20 MK Last part of the Night updt 9/70 pg65

The Hotel we stayed at was really nice !!If the occasion ever arose again to saty Off site I wouldn't hesitate to go back !!!

As long as it included getting to Disney I would stay off site. I'm kind of liking the idea of experiencing different places.

We had a Disney club meeting Wednesday night. I ended up making some changes to our park days and meals to match their schedule. Of course their schedule is not set in stone but I sure hope it doesn't change much.

Lots of fund raisers coming up. We're going to be selling cookies and brownies once a month at school. So once a month we'll be making brownies or cookies. Next Saturday they have a car wash. There is a big fund raiser once month up until two weeks before the leave. We're also seeing sponsorships for the shirts they'll be wearing while there. Things are going to be sooooo busy. Danielle auditioned for the Nutcracker today. She has cheer practice twice a week, dance once a week, her first football game this Thursday and CCD starts tomorrow. And before you know it we'll be getting ready for the holidays.

On a lighter note we went to see the Lion King in 3D yesterday! It was the first time Danielle saw it on the big screen. Such a classic. My niece Chelsea went with us. She can't wait to go to Disney. I think she told us that 4 or 5 times while we were together last night.

Great idea to stay off-site for that first night, it's always fun to be on-site, but sometimes it's just wiser to not!! :thumbsup2

I am way way late to this party but wanted to pop in and say hello to another fellow Baton Rougean! Looking forward to going back and read your report now!

I didn't know they had a Cold Stone there. I live in the Southeast part of BR almost to Denham Springs. I'll have to ask Michelle if she has seen it, she's going to LSU and is even doing a summer class.

I haven't quite read so far to see if this had been commented on or not but since Cold Stone is my weakness, thought I'd throw this out there.. :thumbsup2
There is one by LSU (near WalkOns if I'm not mistaken) but there is also one on Jefferson/Old Hammond in the same shopping plaza as Whole Foods. We frequent that one quite often (just see my pants size to prove it!) LOL :scared1:

You may be my neighbor too. I practically live in Denham as well. We live off Oneal and Old Hammond.
