I've never loved wearing shorts especially because different seat materials can be super uncomfortable and my legs get stuck to the seat.

I've gone to Disney in the summer a lot and do wear shorts there.

But lately I have really been choosing comfort over style or what would be temperature appropriate.

I'm considering buying some capris this summer. While its probably fine for daily living at home IDK about at the parks.

Do you wear capris or skirts or shorts at the parks?
Any go to bottoms that you would recommend?

For reference I'm size 12, "mid size" and prefer a more relaxed fit.

Oh my…I totally forgot about sticking to seats. Last week I thought I had my clothes figured out for a vacay involving parks and a cruise. But, my plans had been 2 pr of jeans, 2 capris, and 4 pairs of shorts and 1 skort. (3 park days, and 4 cruise days).

I mostly wear a 14, but maybe need to specifically get at least one pair of shorts that goes down to my knees.

When we were going to the parks, I wore a lot of dresses in the hotter months. I don't do shorts that much, especially not in the parks as they are not as comfortable to me. I also get icked out when people are wearing insane booty shorts and leave a seat sweaty, I prefer having something between my skin and the seat! So either skorts or cotton material dresses to just abve the knee.

I prefer skorts that hit about 2 in above the knee. Mostly they are a lightly stretchy cotton blend with a thin cotton undershort layer, but I also have a few that are made in quik-dri nylon fabric with mesh shorts under; those get worn (along with quik-dri tees and bras) on days when we are likely to ride a water ride (because I *hate* walking around soaking wet in clothes that are not designed to be worn wet. So uncomfortable.)

The one thing I generally don't bring at all is cotton tees, because they get damp when sweated-in and go limp and stretch out. I prefer a woven shirt if I'm going to wear cotton, and I also own some shirts that were made for fishing, which are really nice in hot weather because they don't get sweat-sticky, and they have air vents and *lots* of pockets.

Wide brimmed hat on my head and sports sandals all the way on my feet; something with support and a full heel strap that can walk right through water. (Absolutely NO sneakers in FL parks for me; it rains too much, and I like getting air to my feet when it's hot.)

In addition, Body Glide stick is your friend. It doesn't sweat off and I never get a single blister when I use it on my feet.

I mostly wear capris in an active/wicking fabric. If I wear skirts or dresses I throw a pair of slip shorts underneath for modesty and to prevent chaffing.

Just back from WDW and it was hotter than expected some days.
Still, I was comfy wearing a variety of bottoms: 2 midi cargo skirts, 1 pair of baggy sweatpants and 2 dresses took care of all of my needs for a 10 day trip.
Agreeing on a wide brimmed straw hat but of course if fabric makes you happier- go for it!

This! I like the Duluth Trading Company Armachillo dresses. And then I wear Thigh Society cooling shorts in place of underwear. These dresses look cute with sneakers, and the black one can be dressed up with sandals if you want to head to a nice table service. Everything packs beautifully and keeps me cool.

I'm a skort gal. Used to wear sun dresses only but I prefer to not take a bag so I've found a number of skorts with pockets. I also tend to wear thiner shirts and not Tshirts although I do take a few. I wear sandals most of the times, skechers/tevas/earth brand/Clarks all work for me.

My favorite skorts - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6BP2PKD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1 they do wrinkle. I also have some

Favorite shirt - https://www.academy.com/p/magellan-...ishing-button-down-shirt?sku=raspberry-medium love the sort of hidden pocket on the side. This brand used to make a great skort, which I have but they don't any more.

I've found some skorts at Dick's Sporting Goods in the past that have good pockets and oddly enough at Wal-Mart. Those are no longer sold but Amazon has a pretty good selection.

.
I've always worn lightweight capris and a lightweight top I wear sandals. I never go without sunscreen either.
I still like to do a lot of rides so wearing a dress of any length isn't for me.
