Ladies! Looking for pictures of hair styles

I feel your pain. My hair is very curly, so if it's too short I have an afro. If it's too long, it weighs down the curl and looks frizzy. I'm settling for shaving my head. :lmao: But seriously, I'm looking for ideas too. I just don't have the time to straighten it every day anymore.

Count me in.. I have crazy curly hair and have no clue what to do with it.

Ok.. here are 2 pics of my hair taken within the last month.. DON'T LAUGH

I completely agree! I actually had my hair cut like her "famous do" for several years. I was SO glad I've been growing it out the last year before the big craze hit and now everywhere I go I see women with that same darn haircut....

I've always loved that top pic. I've been saving it for a while now. WHenver I decide to cut my hair off again, I am getting that one!

My 2 year old LOVES that picture of your dog in your signature! He was sitting on my lap and boy he just went crazy yelling DOG! DOG! LOOK MOM! DOG! :)

I know exactly what you mean. I have a style very similar to the top one. I'd been growing it out for a few months and could not stand it anymore and cut it back into the same style. It is everywhere and I hate that. Yet, it is so easy, perfect for my hair type and I never have a bad hair day.
I hate seeing myself coming and going.

Your hair is really cute in your avator and you look like you'd be cute in whatever style you choose (when the time is right). :)

OK I really think this has potential but do you think its timeless?

My hair is very similar to that style right now. I have thick wavy hair and the cut is really easy to style. I don't think there are many cuts that are truly timeless. I do think it will be in style for a while and by the time it is really out, you will be ready for something else anyway. The layered hair, side bang look is everywhere right now.

What length of hair do you have? How tight are the curls? I saw a few cute curly hairstyles online.

My hair is mid-back when curly, a couple of inches above my waist when I straighten it. The curls are fairly tight spiral curls. Think Mickey Mouse Club era Keri Russell.

That's not me, LOL, I just found it on that website!!!

Oh - :rotfl: - sorry! I thought you had uploaded your photo and tried it out!

I did it on the website when I was thinking about changing my color and it was hilarious, trying on the hair of the stars and other cuts and colors. I actually came up with one I love!

This is the haircut I got, I even took this pic to the stylist. It is my favorite haircut ever. Easy to manage and looks great when I "style" it or if I just get out of the shower and let it dry naturally. I have that not curly, not strait hair type and it's really thin, so the layers give it great body.

I am looking for a makeover too. After losing 65 pounds in the last 13 months and I trying to look a little more fashionable and not get nomanated for what not to wear. :rolleyes1 I went shopping for me yesterday and the girls at the swimwear shop about fell over when I said I was almost 40. (I hope that was a good thing and I look younger, with the baggy workout clothes and the ponytail)

A few months ago I cut about 6 inches off. Now I think I want to go for a Rachel Ray hair style but I am nervous about cutting about 8 more inches off.

First of all, congratulations on losing weight! What a great accomplishment. As far as the hairstyle, I say go for it! If you don't like it, it will always grow back! If you decide to go ahead with it, post before and after pictures.

I really like this hairstyle, but I am hair-challenged. How do you style something like this? What makes it "go out" on the sides?

round brush (with hairdryer) and some hair product to help hold the flips out.

I love it! Why is it the more tools they use on my hair I love it even more?
