Ladies - Have you ever ...

The court order doesn't allow me to comment

I'll say no and no.

I don't necessarily think it would be gross to grab a shirt back out of the hamper (if it wasn't touching something super gross), but I can't figure out why I would. If I had to have a particular shirt that was in the wash, my assumption would be I'm going somewhere important, and would NOT want to wear a dirty shirt there.

And undies, that would be yuck in my book under any circumstance.

On top of all that, I hang on to my older clothes way too long and have plenty of second-rate clothes in the back of my closet or bottom of my drawers, so I would never have to pull something out of the hamper in a pinch.

Yep, we've done it. Not proud of it, but desperate times...:rolleyes1
Throw it in the dryer with a fresh dryer sheet, you're good to go...
Makes me want to go home and do a load of laundry.

Male and I guarantee that every man has done this [except we don't even smell before (re)wearing]

:rotfl2:,

No to the shirt and :eek:to the underwear. I keep plenty panties around so that would not be an issue. Besides if you are going to run out of underpants, why not just hand wash them and use them when you need to:rolleyes1

ewwwww.... that's a no. I like the " contaminated by association" phrase. I will wear a pair of sweats that are on the floor. I will also wear jeans for 2 or 3 days but they can't be in or near the hamper.

NO. Guilt by association. If it's in the hamper, it's been contaminated.

Same here - but only because the hamper is usually filled with DH's sweaty shirts, and I already KNOW nothing I pull out of there is going to be wearable. ;)

Never!

If I were that desperate, I'd go put on something of DD16's.

Have I pulled a shirt out of a hamper or off the floor and smelled it? Yes. Have I ever put it on after I do that? No!

I have never even entertained the possibility of the second half of the question.

And since it was brought up - my husband would never pick up something out of a hamper to put on. He would wash his own laundry before he did that :rotfl: He's more picky about clean clothes than I am!

Sure he may not do it now but I bet he did it once in his life...

I guess I'll be the one to admit to pulling underwear out and using it again. But, I would like to note that I love lingerie and my collection is extensive. I may wear up to 6 pairs in a single day. Getting dressed, work, exercise, new pair to continue work, after work, night time "activities", sleep. So as you can see, sometimes I've worn a pair so briefly I might realize I need to bring it back out for another quick tour of duty.

Nothing says I'm feeling lucky tonight than more than only slightly stinky panties.

Shirt yes.......underwear no way.

Shirt...yes. But have to make sure it's not wrinkled up too!

Underwear...ewww. no way :scared1:

Shirt- yes. If I knew it was one that I had only worn for a few hours, I have been know to pull it out of the hamper, spray some Febreeze on it, give it a shake and a fluff and wear it.

Underwear- no. I have tons of underwear so I always have clean underwear. It's one of my quirks.

ITA with all!!!!!:rotfl:
