I have fairly think long (also mid back) wavy/curly hair and I have been loving Paul Mitchell Super Skinny, helps control frizz but not too heavy. I like it enough to have bought nearly a years supply when on sale in January. I especially like them in summer when it is humid, but have not had any drying problems this winter either.
I found the nexus shampoos to be wonderful shampoos and conditioners but after a while they seem to be heavy on my hair. I also tried a variety of back to basics, with mixed results. the blue ones I can't think of them off the top of my head, didn't like them at all, Tigre brand not enough power for my hair. Aveda is good but not as easy for me to get so I generally haven't used a lot of them, used to like the almond cherry bark conditioner. I didn't much like the Grahm Webb for curly hair, but have liked the ice stuff in the past, I just like this Paul stuff the best right now. Funny thing is I have never really liked any Paul products before so I was really unsure about this when my stylist suggested I try them.
