As you can see in my siggy pic – I *love* blue-collar, rough men (with hearts of gold, of course!) My fiance owns his own appliance repair business and I looooove watching him work… <swoon!> :lovestruc

Well, this morning there’s a guy in the building doing re-wiring, etc for a near by office. HUBBA HUBBA! He is a yummy little specimen! This aint gonna be a bad day, if I something nice to look at allll day long! Yee ha! :cool1:

A guy could be in a suit, all spiffied up and he it does nothing for me… but jeans, t-shirt and a Nextel on his belt? Oh my! :earseek:

Whats your pick – blue or white??

I think it depends on my mood. I do love a man in uniform though! But a man in a suit and tie...Ok I guess it doesn't matter lol. A pretty man is a pretty man!

True blue all the way baby! No stuffy suit and tie for me. Sure it's nice to see a guy dressed up once in awhile but for sheer "look-out" thrills... gotta go blue!! ;)

And you know what? Sometimes the nicest guys are the ones who look a little rough around the edges and the clean cut pretty boys are the real jerks. (I said sometimes people, so don't flame me if your sweetie is a suit.) ;)

If a guy looks like Johnny Depp, I don't care what he's wearing!! I'd like Johnny Depp to be my pool boy this summer. He can wear a speedo, board shorts, whatever, and clean my pool and serve me lunch. :teeth:

Blue!! I loved it when DH worked in a manhole and wore a hard hat!!

(but he looks cute at weddings in his suit, too!)

I don't discriminate. I can appreciate both. :teeth:

Blue all the way. Have always love rugged looking men. Guess that's why I married a carpenter. Give me that rugged look and the smell of cut wood and I am in heaven. :rotfl2:

Straight men are not 'pretty'.

Youz can call me a pig. Youz can call me a dawg. Youz can even call me a hooker. But ya doesn't hafta call me purty....

100% blue collar. Although, DFi does look spiffy when he's "all cleaned up".

I agree - I used to date clean-cut pretty boy "hot-dogs" (as my fiance refers to them as...i.e, instead of a HAM - a hot dog <shrug>)

And no one, no one, no one has been as amazing and funny and sweet and kind and laid back as my blue-collar man.

I loved to see my DH in his dress blues in the Navy. I guess that's kind of a cross between blue and white. He's really a blue collar guy. Besides who wants to share a bathroom with a man that has more product than a woman?!

My dh doesn't use more product than me. I think of white collar as just a guy in a suit with his hair combed. Not necessarily the guy that gets manicures and waxes his eyebrows. :rotfl:

Yes they are!! "Pretty" men are very high maintenence, classy dressers and well, just pretty. Pretty men aren't really good for relationships, just easy on the eyes (can't deal with a man who takes more time on his hair then me :) )

Give me a man in a nice fitting pair of blue jeans and I'm on :cloud9:
Well, I have to admit I like the way my dh looks in a pair of jeans too. But after building 3 houses I have to say none of the construction guys, electricians, painters or plumbers did it for me like the expensive suits I see at the Clinic. ;)

White collar! Although I don't know many men in white collar jobs who actually have to get dressed up anymore.

I'll take jeans, a flannel shirt and work boots over a suit anyday!

That's what I thought too. :confused3 :teeth: I think that some posters are describing metrosexuals.
