Ladies, are you EVER going to leave?? 10 days of Food & Wine fun! *NEW 1/29 PG 34*

Last night in the World. Boo! MVMCP is sold out :scared1: so I'm "stuck" touring the monorail resorts then will probably hit my beloved Epcot one more time!

Looking forward to finishing up the Oct report and telling you about this visit. And of course to planning the next trip... Or trips as the case may be... :rolleyes1

That is a big big tease Christine!!! Bounce Backs are soooo tempting!! ;)

I can think of worse things to be "stuck" doing!! :goodvibes

I hope you have had a great short trip!

Oh yes, trips plural is always a good thing! :thumbsup2
Hope you have had a blast. Looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing tons of wonderful pictures! :cool1:

Awww, nuts! The party was sold out!! So sorry!

A bounceback or 2??!! That sounds heavenly!

Touring the mono resorts isn't all that bad :)

I went to a Sold Out party last year and it was really crowded. Fun, but really crowded. I liked the Halloween Party much better!

Disney's Magical Express is significantly less magical in reverse.

Let's discuss- how can it be better?

Have Mickey on board the bus.

Have my luggage delivered back to my house- with the clothes miraculously clean, preferably!

Serve cocktails on the bus (you knew that was coming! ;) )

How else can we revamp it?

Can u tell I'm bored here on the bus??

So do I pick up in the TR where I left off in Oct or interrupt w/ Dec and come back to Food & Wine?

If I were going to work at WDW what job do you think has the cutest (most forgiving) costume? I'm thinking it is not Frontierland, Wilderness Lodge, Tomorrowland or Kim Possible. That may be my mission on my next trip... To figure that out! :)

Are you sure it wasn't Glühwein? Which can be translated as mulled wine I think? Very traditional for Christmas in Germany and it is warm wine! :goodvibes So this might make more sense? :confused3

YES!!! That is exactly what she said....although when she sent the picture and the text message her spelling wasn't quite right!
You make it sound much better and good for a chilly night :)

I have often thought about the cutest costume...glad I am not alone!
Mission Space looks comfy
Primevil Whirl is hideous
Expedition Everest not too bad...hiking boots
hmmmm that is all I can think of right now  It has been a long day!
Hope you had a wonderful trip and can't wait to hear all about it :)

I think we could make it better by it never arriving at the airport and you have to relocate to Orlando. :rotfl:

Or what about free park tickets for your next visit? :lmao:

Hmmm...tough call on the Trip Report. I think you should go with whatever feels right to you. Me, I'm a chronological order type of gal.

Personally, I would want to work in Liberty Square somewhere. I think I was a Colonial Woman in a past life. :rotfl:

I think it was Winkers who recently called it Magical Depress on the trip back to the airport! I love the idea of serving adult beverages! Can you picture a grey goose machine in the back :thumbsup2

I vote you first tell us what you booked for bounceback! Beyond that, I don't care where your TR picks up as long as I get to hear it all ;)

Well I was in the middle of my PTR for Christmas trip when we stole away in October -- I did a TR for that separately... SO, I would say go ahead and add it to your TR (since they are the same type anyway) but then again, if you want readers to know it is a Christmas trip TR that would be tricky to explain in the title, SO, I would go ahead and do the Christmas one quick and easy, then go back to F & W...

I second that! popcorn::

Hmmmmm, not sure! I'm trying my finish my Oct TR before we leave for Jan otherwise the blonde in me is going to get way to confused!!!

But I do agree with the "as long as we hear all about it" statement!

A lot of the costumes are unforgiving! I've notice that many times! It's just not fair to make a women wear something that makes her assets look that large ;)

YooHoo!!! Christine?

Did real life smack you in the face on your return home?

Hmmm...that ride back feels kind of long and is no doubt depressing...:confused3

I think that a cheery adult beverage might go a long way in helping that...;)

and maybe a big surprise "We're taking you back for 3 more days everything is all paid for...Enjoy!"

I agree on the trip back not being so magical. But I can tell you it is nothing compared to how you feel when your airplane which is supposed to take you from MCO back to Germany is having technical difficulties and after sitting on the tarmac for 3 hours in the plane you are told at 11 pm that you have to deplane, get your luggage and then you will have to spend the night in a hotel (which the airline will pay for luckily) before getting on a flight sometime the next day. And the bus you get on to take you to that hotel is a Magical Express bus! :scared1: I was just about to start crying! :sad2:

I have never been so jealous!

Well I am about to be very jealous of your January trip so we're even!

I'm here. At school. It feels like 31 degrees with the wind chill.

We're changing classes right now. I can hear the 8th graders saying things that would make a sailor blush.

I think I am super envious of you. :goodvibes

Christine, I am very excited for you. Rub Humphrey's nose for me when you get to the WL. Just remember you can buy whatever you forgot! Have fun! :santa:

I did indeed rub his nose and put some coins in the MeMom "wishing well." Let's hope those wishes come true in 2010!

Yay, you're here! I'm at the Boardwalk admiring the holiday trim and eating chocolate peanut butter cake. Even in the rain it is lovely to be here!

It was so nice to see you again. Let's do it again soon!!

I'm late to the party, but just got all caught up :)

Welcome. Not late at all. Plenty of fun yet to be had. As soon as I get my patootie in gear and write a chapter!

I'm not there yet, but I'm on my way! We land at MCO at 5:30!!!

Can't wait to hear about your trip!!

Sounds like you ended up at the right hotel for the weather you are having! :lmao: Intrigued about bouncing back: when?? where??? :goodvibes

It was the perfect hotel for cozying up and was very Christmasy. :santa: Bounceback I was able to book October at my beloved Beach Club for F&W. The operator said something to the effect of "wow, you've been here a lot." Is that a problem???

Other then the rain it sounds like a great afternoon ;)

You know, I wasn't even that bummed. It was delightful to curl up with a book and just enjoy the atmosphere. That's one of the benefits of "regular" trips... you don't feel as much pressure to fit everything in b/c you know you'll be back!

 Might I suggest the first week of May?

You might....

Ahhhhh. Disney Heaven. :cloud9:

Yes, indeedy.

AH, I agree!!!!!! :goodvibes Wilderness Lodge for a rainy day, absolutely!!!

Can't wait to hear about that bounce back idea!!! BUT of course I want to hear about your current Christmas mini trip! :yay:

I can't wait to tell you. And to hear about your trip!!

Just when I thought I had finally beat the urge to book a January trip --- I READ THIS!!!!!!! :sad2:

Disney enablers R us.

I'm crossing my fingers that Leslie and I will have a bounceback in our room so I can apply towards October LOL!!!!!! But that's all I'm saying about that LOL!!

WOOT...so I'm hoping that you booked some happy days in October to make it official LOL!!!!!! :rolleyes1

I hope you'll be able to as well!!

I'm anxious to see what the ten day forecast holds as soon as it moves into our dates. It will be nice to know how much cold weather stuff we're going to need...or not need, we can hope.

Can't wait to hear all about the seminar! :cool1:

Hope you are in the middle of a beautiful holiday evening as I write! :santa:

I can't wait to hear about your holiday trip too!! :santa:

You didn't bring gloves? :scared1: Your poor little cold fingers.

I hope you can get into Brown Derby! I will cross my fingers for you.

I didn't. The forecast didn't seem to reflect a need for them. I will know better if I ever go back in December! But now I have some cute gloves with Mickey heads on them.

I second that! I will be there then too!

1st week of May is absolutely wonderful Christine!!! Hint, hint!:rotfl: Beautiful weather (hot, but not scorching), low crowds, and the best part of Flower & Garden as everything is in full bloom and matured.

I love Epcot at Flower and Garden time. I love Epcot at any time but the flowers are so beautiful!

Yay, another early May visitor! There are a few of us planning trips that week, hop over to my PTR and compare your plans with us!

Sounds like some DIS meet potential....

:woohoo: Good to hear, says another first week of May visitor. As much as I wish I wish there now, I am patiently waiting the first week of May!!!!!!

C-

Sounds like you are having a wonderful time, but I can't believe you forgot your gloves!!!!!! I visited once in November and put a pair of dollar store gloves in my bag at the last minute......serious life saver!!!!!!!

You're there in May too! Wow. I was amazed at the swing in temps. Gloves one night and 86 and sunny a few days later! Makes packing a challenge!

I must also say what a great bounceback time would be the first week of May
Hope the weather is a bit warmer today for you :goodvibes....my friend left to go back to Connecticut this morning and she said the past 2 days were a bit chilly. She was in Germany yesterday and said something about how they warmed up her wine because it was so cold out. Warm wine? :sad2:
Looking forward to hearing about the TSM party :thumbsup2

Tracy

It did finally warm up- thank goodness! The TSM party was super fun!!

 That's 4 votes for May Christine...are you listening? :flower3:

Yes, I am listening. ::yes::

Dying to hear a cliff notes on the Party!

And I am so excited that I have discovered some fellow May travellers...we will have to talk!;)

Christine, please join us 1st week of May!!! Book that bounceback! (To answer your question, I don't think there *is* a limit on the number of bouncebacks you can have!:rotfl: Last year I booked three!;) You can always cancel whatever you don't end up using, but of course, you only have 1 chance to lock in those great rates!)

Disney should put you on their payroll!

Are you sure it wasn't Glühwein? Which can be translated as mulled wine I think? Very traditional for Christmas in Germany and it is warm wine! :goodvibes So this might make more sense? :confused3

Now I wish I had known they had mulled wine. That would have been yummy!

It's not nice to tease C!

Sorry.

But you did get to at least one MVMCP, right? Hopefully it wasn't the one nite you were hoping to go to it! I am kinda shocked it sold out - Friday or Saturday I would have expected, but not Sunday. Wow!

Looking forward to hearing all about those bouncebacks!;)

No- didn't get to go this year but did get to go last year. I was surprised too.

Eat some gingerbread at the Grand Floridian for me, C!

I'm afraid to say this with the Christmas police lurking about but I don't like gingerbread

That is a big big tease Christine!!! Bounce Backs are soooo tempting!! ;)

I can think of worse things to be "stuck" doing!! :goodvibes

I hope you have had a great short trip!

It was a fantastic short trip! :thumbsup2

Oh yes, trips plural is always a good thing! :thumbsup2
Hope you have had a blast. Looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing tons of wonderful pictures! :cool1:

Right back at you! Hope your trip is extra magical and that you have plenty more planned for the future!

Awww, nuts! The party was sold out!! So sorry!

A bounceback or 2??!! That sounds heavenly!

Touring the mono resorts isn't all that bad :)

The monorail tour was fun!!

I went to a Sold Out party last year and it was really crowded. Fun, but really crowded. I liked the Halloween Party much better!

Thanks, MEK. That's what I told myself. Probably very crowded, which would drive me nuts.

YES!!! That is exactly what she said....although when she sent the picture and the text message her spelling wasn't quite right!
You make it sound much better and good for a chilly night :)

Tracy

It sounds good to me right now!

Tracy:santa:

Yeah, a kindred spirit. I will have to examine costumes in more detail next trip before I make my decision.

I think we could make it better by it never arriving at the airport and you have to relocate to Orlando. :rotfl:

Or what about free park tickets for your next visit? :lmao:

Magical Depress... that is perfect!!

Well I was in the middle of my PTR for Christmas trip when we stole away in October -- I did a TR for that separately... Still haven't decided what to do. Am thinking that I'll write the Christmas one up quickly b/c that is what is "speaking" to me right now.

I second that! popcorn::

No fair ganging up on me. ;)

Hmmmmm, not sure! I'm trying my finish my Oct TR before we leave for Jan otherwise the blonde in me is going to get way to confused!!!

You will definitely hear all about it!

YooHoo!!! Christine?

Did real life smack you in the face on your return home?

Oh yes, it did. And then some.

Hmmm...that ride back feels kind of long and is no doubt depressing...:confused3

I think that a cheery adult beverage might go a long way in helping that...;)

and maybe a big surprise "We're taking you back for 3 more days everything is all paid for...Enjoy!"

Oh. 3 more days would be an excellent surprise!

I agree on the trip back not being so magical. Oh my goodness that sounds like quite an experience. Did it take you to a Disney hotel or an airport hotel?

Can't wait to hear about it from your perspective, since we were there at the same time!

I can't wait to hear what you thought too!
