Does anyone else find it odd that there are no wave runner or parasailing shore excursions offered in Nassau? Is the water too rough outside the harbor or something? I'm sure if these were offered, they would always be booked. Just my random thought of the day as we prepare for our next cruise on the Dream. pirate:

Maybe they want to ensure these activities are fully booked on Castaway Cay?

Or maybe they're having trouble finding local businesses that can provide a consistent level of service.

I understand what you are saying, as it can be tough to adjust to doing things on "island time". But, I want to be more clear. Many of the tourist based businesses are small family owned businesses. They may have only one or two boats, or a couple of jet skis. So, they can offer only one or two excursions a day for a handful of guests. There is no way for DCL to work with that. And, as it is difficult to grow a small business into something larger with just a few guests a day, the cycle will continue.

I think there is also some validity in the idea that Disney wants guests to book similar excursions at Castaway Cay.
