1 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter (recipe maker prefers ½ stick oleo and ½ stick butter)
½ tsp salt
1 TBSP + 1 tsp plain flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (not instant)
directions:
Cream butter/oleo with sugar, then add beaten egg, the everything else EXCEPT
OATS AND PECANS. Beat until creamy. Stir in oats and pecans.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet that has been lined with non-stick
foil or bakers mate. ( I am not sure what non-stick foil is, but 3 recipes for
Lace Cookies say to spray the foil with Pam or grease the foil. )
Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, watch carefully for the last 2-3 minutes.
DO NOT remove from pan until cool.
Cookies will spread while cooking, so do not place too close before baking.
Do Not use light margarine.
The cookies tasted delish... just stuck like crazy. I will say im not really a baker, so it was prob just something i did lol. I have had this recipe before that someone else made and they are to die for!!!
