Labor Day Weekend & Half-Marathon

My younger DS has asked to go to DL for his birthday and unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it--his birthday is over Labor Day weekend. I know that it will be busier because its a weekend, a holiday weekend, and I just found out that it's also the half-marathon. My question is do you think these things combined will make it "summer busy" or just busy? My older DS is in high school so I can't really pull him out of school or we would just plan for a different weekend. What do you think?

Just Busy. It's not like Summer because people are mostly back to school and have had thier regular vacations.

Surprisingly less busy than one would think i think alot of it has to do wiht the fact that most people who run will not be in the parks for several hours afterwards, as they are resting up and recouping.

We've done the DL 1/2 Marathon a couple of times - the first one and the 5th, two years ago, and will be doing it again this September.

The parks are not bad at all, but this year we added an extra day to our stay in anticipation of Cars Land, which, if it doesn't attract more people than CA did in the past, will at least attract US, as it will be our first look at it and we want to have plenty of time to enjoy it and everything else as well.
