Labor Day Weekend Crowd?

We will be at WDW between 8/28 (the Thursday before Labor Day until the Day after Labor Day). Right now we have a 5 night reservation at Wilderness Lodge. I am thinking about visitng UA/IOA during this time.

Do you think this time will be very crowded? I am trying to decide if we need to split the stay between Wilderness Lodge and HRH. However, since it is only 5 nights in total, we hate to move.

Do you think we will really need FOTL during this time? Thanks so much.

Crowds start thinning out around that time, as many have to go back to school and all. The actual Labor Day weekend will be very packed. I'd anticipate 30-60 maximum wait times for the popular stuff.

thanks very much. this makes the decision more difficult. we like IOA/US and WDW but don't want to move

You can always use the free express or the paid express at the parks. The paid express will cost $20-$25 (I'm not sure which) per person and is park specific. You can use that express pass anytime you want during the day, but you only get one express access per attraction. And everyone needs their own pass. This may be the best option for you if you dont want to leave the WL.
