I just snared a $188 deal for our Aug/Sept trip on American Airlines, so for fun I put in $27 for a 2-star MCO hotel via Priceline and came up with La Quinta again! This time it's the airport north location, but they have a free shuttle so that's all I care about. I was surprised that they had something available this far in advance. Oh well, now we're all set for air and night-before hotels for all of our trips this year except Thanksgiving. I'm watching the airfares on that one, but it looks like it's going to be a pricey proposition.

That would be my guess too...I am AMAZED we got anything this far in advance. Personally, I prefer offsite to the Hyatt because it seems to be easier to be picked up there than at the airport. A couple of trips ago, they were allowing buses to park in the spots that are supposed to be for towncar and van pick-ups. Our driver had to pulled up behind a bus. The traffic controller, who I would think was supposed to prevent that, was DIRECTING the buses into the towncar and van spots. Last time things ran much more smoothly, but I'd rather get the airport part of it over with the night before.
