La Hacienda

Anyone know if the menu posted by Mad Hattered was for both Lunch and Dinner, or does it change? Looking at the menu, I'd almost rather eat at La Cantina de San Angel and take my chances with a table.

They are only open for dinner.

La Hacienda de San Angel does not serve lunch. There is a just a dinner menu, as they are only open for dinner.

La Cantina (the CS) will have the same menu for lunch and dinner.

Thanks....major BLONDE moment!!! LOL:rotfl::rotfl2:

I just looked up 11/30 and had several times to choose from. I wonder if the CM looked up Le Cellier on accident?

Perhaps. We easily booked an ADR online when we got home with out choice of almost any time we wanted for Nov 30th (we went with 6:45 pm). No idea what the phone CM was looking for - I'm guessing he had a bad connection in New Dehli...

Sorry, I guess I didn't make my question clear. Is it the same menu for both lunch and dinner or are the lunch and dinner menus different?

La Hacienda is open from 4-9pm

after seeing the pictures in the blog it looks like very small portions. anyone see this like i do? there is just a tortilla on a plate with the toppings on it, no sides at all.. i may skip this b/c i like to be full at dinner. that is NOT enough food for $25, one taco! Am I missing something??? I'm leaving in a week and was planning to try this :confused3

If the blog photos are from the media event, they were only serving samplings, not fully plated items. I was there too...click here to read my report, which includes a link to more photos. The food was quite good, especially for the American palate (some items had some heat to them but nothing overwhelming). I liked it and will probably be back within the next few weeks, although I highly recommend El Tenampa on 192 near Medieval Times in Kissimmee for those who love authentic (aguas frescas, cactus on the steak, best homemade tortillas ever) Mexican cuisine.

Do you mean like these?

If so, those look like they have been set up for a tasting menu. I highly doubt that is how anything would actually be served in the restaurant.

Ohhh.. I like that place. The frescas are awesome. I also like the band on Sundays.

Any word on a kid's menu? :confused3

I saw on allears.net that there are kids items which include the following:

Kids Meals
from $7.75

Beef Tacos
Chicken Tacos
Nachos
Chicken Tenders

And to those concerned about portion sizes. A poster mentioned on another board that portions were a nice size and included side dishes and they left full. As mentioned the photos that are available on most of the links on this board are samples they had from the opening.

And for this one (since I can't seem to find any reviews from DDP users, the horse's mouth will have to be good enough - see the comments section):

Yes, it is!

When the waitress came to our table last night she asked us if we were on the DDP ... so La Hacienda is on the DDP!
