La Hacienda

Thanks for the link, it looks nice inside. Hard to see from pic's if tables have a view or partial of fireworks.

According to the Disney food blog, there is some seating in a room off the entrance of La Hacienda that will not have a view of Illuminations. So it appears that ALL tables in the restaurant will not have a view.

I just called and was told there is absolutely nothing available at all on November 30, 2010. I'm going to try the website later and/or call again tomorrow.

I just looked up 11/30 and had several times to choose from. I wonder if the CM looked up Le Cellier on accident?

Got a 8:45 time in Dec. Too late for dinner so we are going to have a couple of desserts while we watch Illumination. Hopefully we can get a good view!

Entrees don't look particularly appealing to me, especially at that price. This food is definitely priced for the DDP. I might go and get four apps between the two of us.

Do you think 7:30 or 8:00 is a better Illuminations reservation? I would think 7:30 would be better if we were fighting for a patio seat, but it looks like everyone inside the restaurant will have a great view too, and we don't want to wait around too long with restless kiddos. I'd love to hear your opinions!:)

Anxious to try this restaurant out---Reservations are Dec.2.
Had many times to choose from. Probably because word hasn't gotten out that it can be booked.

I thought that I heard (pretty sure!) that the patio seats are just for the Cantina. Anyone else know?

I ate there yesterday (test group). I believe the opening is the 16th. I am pretty sure that is what they said. And I think the server said the last seating is at 9:15. Figure this will be quite the popular place around Illuminations time.

And I happen to have a menu. :rolleyes1 I have not looked to see if it is on any unofficial site yet. And I wonder how soon the menu will change. Only because it seems like the menus change somewhat from after they first open.

Questions? I am no expert by any means. But at least I can say I have been there! ;)
Sorry -- I did not snap any photos.

I would like to know what you thought of it. Was it good? I'm on the fence about the menu. Some things look interesting, other things, not so much. I HATE San Angel Inn so I'm hoping this is a better option if we choose to eat here in the future.

So, the DIS says it IS on the DDP and the Disney Dining Site says it ISN'T on the DDP.... :confused3 Which is correct?
