L&M OR Budget

going to orlando aug 18th to the 29th. Which rent a car company would you guys go with. L&M, 11 days, Minivan $401 or Budget for $449. Both are in the airport.

My vote is for Budget, there have been many complaints and bad reports about L&M and very few compliments.

I would use L&M. We have used them three times and always had positive experiences. Cars were new, clean and well kept, employees were very courteous. Last used them in May, 2004. I do not know what the bad experiences with them are, since we have not had any, only excellent experiences.

Might want to check that out for the FL. locations, last I heard they did charge for spouses.

With Budget, regardless of Fastbreak membership, spouses drive free. I called and asked.

If difference in price was negligible, I'd go with Budget. I rented from L&M and didn't have ANY problems, but I didn't care for the car. I had a VERY basic Daewoo Lanos. It was clean, and it got me where I needed to go, but it felt like I was driving a go kart!!! I much prefer the Budget fleet.

LOL, I did too and they told me they did charge for spouses at MCO. Figures, yet another company NOT on the same page.
