I had a huge problem and just wanted to say how much I appreciate good reservation cms. I had booked a room only ressie in October. I did this so I would not have to pay the entire balance 45 days prior. We were planning to use our tax refund to pay for trip and I needed to wait until I rec'd refund to pay. Well...refund came in so I called to convert room only to package. I had put the entire balance in my checking account and went pay w/ debit card. Would not work!! I had a daily limit on my debit card of $1000.
CM said to call my bank and have them lift the cap. She held my room w/ a $200 deposit and noted on the computer what I was going to do. This was a Friday...could not contact bank until Mon.
Called bank....NO WAY!!
They would not allow me to use my debit card for the $2,600 balance. I freaked out.
Now my ressies were going to be canceled and WDW is booked solid!!! I called WDW back and explained the situation. They were wonderful!!!!!! The CM talked w/ a supervisor who gave the ok to let me pay three days in a row. That way I can charge my debit card three times!! I was so HAPPY!!!
It's nice to know that in a desperate situation, WDW will work with you. All is well.....
