Just got back from Pop!

Left the fridge in Luggage Assistance for the next swapper yesterday morning. Fridge worked great! I did make a list of things the fridge will need soon so if anyone could bring this with you it would be great:

-Duct tape or packing tape (need very soon)
-a metal shelf (the fridge is currently shelf-less. If anyone has an extra shelf laying around you could try bringing it to see if it'll fit)
-new box-the box is ok, but we will need a new one in the next couple of months I think.

The fridge DOES have a coffee maker (small one), filters, and a toaster.

I'll bring a shelf. My fridge at work just broke this week so I have an extra.

I also always travel with DuckTape.

I did get the fridge with no hitches. They had it stored outside of luggage in the luggage storage carts just outside of luggage area. The cast member that helped me knew it was there because he said that is where it is usually stored - so remember that for future swappers that if they cannot find it in luggage services you can suggest they check the luggage storage carts outside of luggage services.

I will be leaving a whole new roll of clear packing tape with the box.

Krystal, we have decided to forgo the fridge this trip. There is a backup swapper for my dates (8/26-9/4) so please move him to the main list!

I really do love this swap but we found that we didn't use the fridge that much last trip and would rather allow someone that will get more use out of it to have it.

It uses the Melitta (or off brand) JUNIOR basket coffee filters for 4 to 6 cups. They are the small flat bottom filters.

It may just be me, but it seems to be getting easier to deal with LS. This is the third year we have participated in a swap and it was, by far, the easiest year to pick up the fridge.

Good to hear! I think it helps that they're not bombarded by several different swaps. As far as I know there are just a handful of swaps left.
