I know what the OP means, because I just noticed the two types of coupons this past Saturday.
In that bundle of coupons they mail, SOME say "Store Coupon" and others say "Manufacturer Coupon" at the top. The Store coupons are usually for Kroger-brand items, but the Manufacturer coupons are for things like Kraft. Target also does this in their mailers.
I'm kicking myself because I've been filing all of those mailed coupons under "Kroger" and letting some of them expire if I didn't buy the product. I might have bought some of those products elsewhere and not thought to look for a coupon because I don't look in my Kroger file when I'm at Harris-Teeter or Food Lion. (Which is, of course, what they want you to do - only buy at Kroger.)
I think the mfg. coupons do double at Kroger if they're under the price limit, but not the store coupons. I'll have to check my receipt since I used one just yesterday.
On a similar note, the mfg. coupons do not say that they can only be redeemed at Kroger, although the logo is at the bottom.
Does anyone know if you can redeem "Manufacturer Coupons" distributed by one store at a different grocery store?
I use mine at Harris Teeter, with no problems. Used a few this week, during Super Doubles!
Huh, that's interesting. Mine doesn't double them, but it appears that other posters' stores do. Must vary by the store.
Good to know! Thanks! They're usually for such a small amount of money that they NEED to be double to be worth much!
The manufacturer ones do double at my store. I love those packets because I usually get a few that are for free items like lunch meat or a box of cereal. I think they send them out based on your buying habits because I almost always get a full packet of coupons only for things I normally buy.
I've had a kroger card since they started program and I have never gotten coupon packets.
than who knows either I don't shop Kroger enough now ( good possiblity) or Dh threw it away.We just got our first one a few weeks ago. There were a ton of coupons, mostly for things I buy, plus coupons for a free case of water, free dishwasher detergent, and free Crystal Lite. I was so excited!

It's correct I just went thru a bunch of sites to update phone numbers and take off P.O. Box if it was on there, kroger had every thing right. I really think Dh may have "stashed" them somewhere that I'll find 2 yrs after they expire as he is good at keeping paper that he really doesn't need.Maybe you should check into whether or not your mailing address is correct on your account. If it is, I'd try to find out what's up. You're definitely due for some if you've had a card that long!
I have read that other people have been successful calling Kroger customer service and asking that they be put on the mailing list. I would be worth a shot. It's correct I just went thru a bunch of sites to update phone numbers and take off P.O. Box if it was on there, kroger had every thing right.
