Kristin Stewart is awkward!

She is going to host a country music awards show w/ Toby Keith in June. I can only imagine how bad thzt's gonna be!

Nope. That's not her. I'm pretty sure KStew hates country music. That's Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars and numerous movies who will be cohosting those.

Not a big fan,
Not to mention, it got to be one cracked or dusty mirror that woukd pick her over Charlize Theron.

IMHO she is a terrible actress. She is very one dimensional, atonal and very limited in her range. I have never understood her "stardom" but then again I am probably not her intended audience.

I agree. She even won the kids choice award for favorite movie actress this year

The only photos I've ever seen are of her giving the finger to the papparazzi (sp?), which to me shows how immature she really is.

Usually, the paparazzi deseve that particular salute, so I don't fault her for that.

Twilight is such utter garbage that I don't think any actress could make that work. I don't think she's a terrible actress, she just needs better roles.

I don't think she's very good looking, just plain, and she's very dull, which made her perfect for the Twilight role apparently, since the whole concept of the story is to let any girl fill in the gaps as themselves (see theoatmeal.com's take on it if you don't know what I mean)

But they cast her in another role, snow white? oh no.

well she's been around since she was like 10 so she's had longer than "15 minutes." Personally I love her. Adventureland is one of my all time favorite movies. She is perfect in it. She's silly and goofy and awkward and funny and I like the fact that there is someone who is definitely herself. So she's not giggly and bubbly, not everyone is and just because you want to act doesn't mean you have to be that way. People seem to want all actresses to be a certain way and get (for lack of a better word) offended when not everyone acts that way.

No one said she should be giggly or bubbly, they just think she should be able to make eye contact and answer a question without stammering.

If she is truly shy then someone should get her some help in overcoming her shyness. If she is going to continue to act then she will continue to have to make public appearances. She should be better at it by now.

I saw her today with Kelly, and it was just painful to watch. Count me with those who think she can't act either. She is the main reason I won't be seeing Snow White.

I understand that you have a different opinion of the female body, but seriously, other than Melissa McCarthy, who in today's raft of young actresses would you consider a meaty disaster? It's not as though there are masses of Fatty Mcfattys getting tons of jobs in today's entertainment arena.

Honestly, it's clear that she made that post to create drama, rather than to have an honest discussion. It amazes me how many people fell into the trap.

I was just watching Kelly Ripa and she can barely respond to questions. She's not the person to send out to promote anything. She looks down, no eye contact, stammers, seems confused, fidgets in her chair, swings her feet...not very socially adept. I've never seen her in a film so I don't know her work but it must be good for her to have become so famous.

I think that part of the blame needs to be put on Kelly Ripa.

It's fairly well known that Kristin Sewart has a real shyness problem. Ripa should have taken some time to do a better pre-interview so Stewart was a bit more comfortable. While expecting stars to just show up and be 'on' likely works 90% of the time, when it doesn't the interviewer ends up with a bad show. Assuming that the interviewer wants every one of her eps to be good ones, then she has to be willing to do the work necessary to make that happen.

On this, Oprah appears to 'get it', while Ripa does not.

I have to say, as soon as I saw 'meaty disaster' and 'fatty mcfatty' I laughed out loud at my computer. Sorry if that makes me mean, but it was a much needed laugh right now!

As for Kristen Stewart, I don't get the appeal either. I like the Twilight movies, but she was like a piece of wood all the way through. Maybe that's her style ... but it just leaves me feeling 'blah'.

I think it's some form of anxiety, odd for an actress but not unheard of. When she was in Panic Room she was GREAT! I loved her now she seems like a big weirdo.

The first two that come to mind are Khloe Kardashian (though none of the Kardashians are very attractive in my opinion) and Gabourey Sidibe. I've never seen Stewart act since I've never seen any movie she was in but I've seen pics in the press and the trailer for the Snow White movie and I thought she was cute. Kind of girl next door like Rachel Bilson. I really don't care how she is in interviews because I don't watch entertainment shows or morning shows.

Just my opinion of course. Anyone can disagree but it doesn't make it wrong.

I really want to go see Snow White tonight but I'm so afraid it's going to be "Bella" plays dress up as Snow White. I don't think she can act either and I don't want to pay to see another movie ruined by her lack of emotion. I may force myself to watch it because Chris Hemsworth is in it :woohoo:

I'm pretty sure firedancer is a male, but maybe you know something the rest of us don't??

I am and that poster knows it. It is like a 3rd grader trying to insult you by saying "you are such a girl". It is equally pathetic and amusing.

It's drugs people. There are pics out on the internet of her using drugs.

I'm sure she is shy but she is a drug user.

While I know nothing about her drug use, I have to say that I was really looking at her to see if she seemed high. Her responses were so delayed and minimal that I have to consider it a possibility, especially the delays. It seemed like she wasn't connecting to the fact that she was supposed to be speaking.

Poor Kelly Ripa finally began to feed her answers as well as questions. Kelly is a gentle interviewer and not the least bit intimidating unless you consider energy tough to deal with and Kristin might just have a problem with it. Whatever the problem, she's in need of some help.

Khloe Kardashian is not really fat. Just tall, curvy and big boned. I truly cannot stand any of the Kardashians, but she is not a "meaty disaster". I'm sure if you saw her off camera you'd probably think she was tall and no more meaty than her sisters. They are all probably in the size 4-8 range.

Kristin Stewart doesn't bother me because she's shy. I just think she is a terrible actress. The fact that she is shy and awkward almost makes me like her more.

Why? Why try and change someone? I am shy and I have no intention of changing or wnting to change and maybe she doesn't either. I like me just the way I am :confused3

You also aren't trying to be a world-famous actress. It seems to me, if you really want to act, you have to realize that interviews and public appearances will come with the job description. You would have to figure out a way to deal with it. She, sadly, doesn't appear to have found a way, though.

:thumbsup2. Not to mention $$$. Promoting a movie is supposed to encourage people to see it - and if one of the lead actresses consistently comes across as a big bore people could very well skip it. Which could affect her future paychecks (if she cares).
